also..
to add to what Debbie said, you can go to the lobby and mark all read and when you return hit "new" messages. This will show you all the conferences with just the threads with new posts to them. However..you don't get the red tag next to the new post in "new" like when you enter straight into the individual conferences..but you can still do that by just going to the individual conference. Using "new" to view is great for small threads but when a thread like the weekly check-in gets above 45-50 posts it is almost impossible to hunt down the new posts without the help of the red tags.
