WOW!

First off it hurts just a little, then after awhile you just do it and it becomes less sensitive. I've never had such a great shave in my life. (if you call it a shave) Even in more sensitive areas (I only do the bikini line area) this makes a big difference, with no stubs or skin irritations. Be more careful there though. WUW! But do able. It says you don't have to do it for another 4 weeks. That is long lasting.

Just wanted you all to know it works and no more expensive waxing.

Is that one of those 'rip the hairs out by the roots' do-hickeys? I have a couple of Emjoi epilators that do that. I use them on underarms, face and bikini line (though it takes me a while to get up enough courage to do that...I'm not used to it yet.

Sounds like you've had waxing done in the past. How does that pain compare to the Epilady?

Kathryn,

I've never had a waxing job in my life. From all the women that have talked about it,and their responses, I'm afraid to. This Epilady I can handle. I've tried a rip hair remover once before, along time ago, and man that hurt. But this one is not so bad.

Hi Janie,

Where did you buy this? After reading your glowing review, I tried to find one, and it seems to be discontinued :(

Thanks,
Doreen

Doreen,

Something is going on. I can't seem to find anymore as well. I wonder if it's because it is such a good product.

keep trying. I guess I'm very lucky and grateful to find one.

Does anyone know where Doreen can find one?

My Epilady died several years ago. Actually, it was the electrical transformer that died and no one seemed to have a replacement. I purchased a Norelco Satinelle and have been very happy with it. The hair on my legs is so sparce I only need to use it on the shins about every 6 weeks. I've only recently ventured into the bikini area. But I think I will continue it there.

HINT- If you use a home bikini strip wax (Sally Hanson) first, it loosens the hair enough for the epilator to pull out the strays without much too-doo.

Here's a link to Norelco:

As I said, I just did this shaving yesterday, and there are more results. A couple of hours later I got these red dots all over where I ripped out the hairs. But this morning they are completely gone. So if you wear a bikini, do it the day before you wear one. I still have a few red marks on parts of my face, but I bet it will be gone soon.

Take care,

Janie
