Elliptical Hunt

Since our NordicTrack elliptical is on it's last leg, I'm going out tomorrow to try out every replacement machine I can find. Does anyone have one of these models and if so, what do you think? I'm trying to stay within the $1K - $3K price range:
Sole E55 or E35
Life Fitness X1
Octane (I remember reading about this on another elliptical post but not sure what model)
NordicTrack Audio Strider 990 (I'm really intrigued by this iFit tech stuff)

Any other models I should add to the list?

I have an Octane Q45e and absolutely love it! I know a lot of people here have Precor models and really like them as well.

I chose the Octane after testing out many models because I found it the most comfortable "ergonomically" for my body and gate. I was also interested in a machine that used increased resistance rather than ramping up and offered the ability to change the stride length.
