Economical Puzzle Mats at Lowes.

Someone here recommended hitting Lowe's for puzzle mats and I thought I'd check. The one's Lowe's carries are dark gray, 1/2" (12mm) thick and priced $16.98 for a 4-pack. They don't carry the edge strips (or wedges) and the 1/2" thickness is a tiny bit thinner than the one's I've seen online. If you require a finished look it's probably going to be impossible to find edge pieces the same thickness. Still, you can't beat the price. I haven't yet tried them but, for me, anything's an improvement.

I have those, I bought 3 packs of them. I have hard wood floors so I need something, although I don't always use them - oops. I have found that they slide sometimes when I do cardio. With a 3 x 4 area though when they do slide the whole thing moves & it's not to bad.
For me they work, but if I ever tried something thicker I probably would not like them anymore. Like you said, for the price, not bad.

I have them wall to wall in my workout room. I do have a double layer though, as one layer wasn't enough over ceramic tile.

Mine have held up well. I've probably had them 6 or 7 years now. I paid a little less back then, but the price is still good. Oh, and mine are multi colored, instead of gray.

i got mine at costco. not sure of the thickness, but i've got them over a concrete floor and they feel great to me! the ones i bought were $12.95 (or close to that, i can't recall exactly) for 10, with the edging. they are a great deal and i have had no issues with them. just fyi...

Ten? With the edging?! I'm joining COSTCO on my next off day! Holy cow. THAT's a bargain!!!
