dvd substitutions for fat loss rotation

i'd like to do cathe's july '03 fat loss rotation for june, but i'm missing some of the workouts she suggests and i'm looking to substitute what i do have.

i am missing:

CTX series (week one calls for ctx upper body)
MIC (i was thinking i could sub the hi/lo intervals from hardcore extreme)
Body Max (i do have body max 2 though, so i can sub that, i assume)
Step Fit
Step Works
PS Strong Legs and Abs (could i sub butts and guts for this?)

not sure what i should sub for the upper body b/c i don't know what sort of work is done in the CTX series - is it more for strength or endurance? as for the two step workouts i'm missing, i have no idea what's involved in them, so i'm not sure what to sub. i don't have many all step workouts. thanks for any suggestions you might have :)
 
It would help if you told us what workouts you do have. Your suggestions for MIC, Body Max and PS sound find. Step Fit and Step Works are some of her older step workouts, not too complex. You could do the step premixes from Low Impact Circuit, Low Max or Cardio & Weights or if you have Step, Jump & Pump or Step Blast that would be good too. You could do Muscle Max Upper Body premix for CTX.

thanks marcy. sorry, i'm sure it would help to know what i have, should have thought of that! i can definitely do the step premixes from LIC and C&W, thanks. i don't have muscle max, but i do have MIS, Muscle Endurance, push pull, PUB, and power hour.

oh, and i DO have body max, i thought i had lent it out.
 
The upper body split on Muscle Endurance would be good too. Push Pull has two upper body premixes (2 sets and 3 sets of upper body). Supersets also has an upper body blast. MIS doesn't have any premixes but you could just do the upper body chapters from that. PUB is fine as well to sub. Also below are two upper body premixes from LIC:

Upper Body Circuit 55 ½ minutes

Warm up
Combo 1 step & blast
Shoulders- lateral raises, overhead raises, & external rotator conditioner
Combo 2 step & blast
Biceps- BB curls with band, BB curls no band
Triceps- straddle push ups, lying extensions, kickbacks
Combo 3 step & blast
Chest- positive push ups, negative push ups & uneven push ups
Back- lat pull down, scapular retractions, double arm standing rows
Combo 4 step & blast (bonus)
Stretch

Upper Body Sculpt 31 minutes

Warm up
Shoulders- lateral raises, overhead raises, & external rotator conditioner
Biceps- BB curls with band, BB curls no band
Triceps- straddle push ups, lying extensions, kickbacks
Chest- positive push ups, negative push ups & uneven push ups
Back- lat pull down, scapular retractions, double arm standing rows
