DS crossed a sort-of milestone today

I know you will know how weird this feels. Today, we went to Kohls to get my son some new shirts and he is no longer in the little boy area but the big boy area!! Kind of mixed emotions. My little boy is growing up!! The funniest part is that for the past eight years he hasn't cared what he wears- just puts on whatever I lay out the night before. Well, it was pretty darned funny and soo cute because he was like a kid in a candy store- except clothes. He was sooo excited that HE got to pick out his clothes!! Suddenly I saw this little man in front of my eyes! Oh great! I'm all teary eyed again!!

My baby is growing up! Sniffle!!

I can so relate. My son is now 6 so still a little boy but more in the inbetween stages now. Buying clothes for him really brings home how fast they're growing up!

I can relate. Right now my 2 1/2 year old daughter just transitioned from her crib to a big girl bed. It was a happy (& sad) day cuz' she is no longer my little baby. They grow up way too fast!

Oh gals- you are soo right. First you pass by the baby aisle, then the toddler aisle, then little kid and big kid.... I can totally relate to the crib to big-boy bed! I can't remember how long I kept his crib up!
