I enjoyed an unusual treat today. I got to play in the snow! :7 Yes, snow! It snowed all day today in Central Texas. I’m dreaming of a white Easter! :7 It does not usually snow in Central Texas. We get ice storms, hailstorms, and tornados, but not snow. Oh, I am so excited! This was the highlight of my day. Never mind that I could wear shorts on Christmas and may need to pull out my boots for Easter. The weather has been having wild mood swings this year. It was 80 degrees a few days ago. Thankfully, it is not bitter cold. It is cold enough for the snow to blanket the ground and decorate the trees but not cold enough to stick to the roads. The beautiful bluebonnets have big white hats now. I hope it sticks around so I can take pictures tomorrow. :7
Sandra, no need to send those miniature snowmen. ;-) I can build my own now! I saved a snowball in my freezer the last time it snowed (which was on Valentine’s Day in 2004). I need to save an Easter snowball! People are decorating their snowmen with Easter eggs and Easter candy! :7
Blessings,
Heather B.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1 NIV).
