LOL - no, I actually flew out to Des Moines on Sunday and spent the whole day yesterday interviewing, touring Newton, Iowa and then flying home. Today I was really busy at work trying to catch up because I hadn't been in the office since Wednesday.

Congrats on the job! That's great! When are you moving? Is he able to transfer? What is your new job going to be? Are you excited?

There's just one little bump in the negotiations to work out, but if they are willing to go with my request (I need to have the 3rd week of June off for dd's preschool graduation, her birthday and my birthday), then I would move out there the week of June 5. Then I'd come back here every weekend because dd and dh will stay here until after my niece's wedding (July 8). Dd is the flowergirl, so we have to be here. Then we'd all go out there that weekend.
The job is a Sr. HRIS Analyst for Maytag. I am pretty excited because it's a good opportunity and all I hear on the news here is how the county is out of money, they can't buy new materials for the library, they're going to raise our taxes, they're closing this and that. It's depressing and it has been like this since I moved here back in 1990.
