Doms or immediate burn

Hi everyone!
In your experience, which gives you greater results from a workout: one where you really feel the burn during the workout, or one where you really don't feel it until the next day or two, but more intense. (as in I can't sit down!!!!)Thanks, Nancy J.~~~

I think this answer is about as clear as mud. I don't think immediate DOMS vs delayed is an indication of the results you will get. Sometimes your body just reacts differently to a particular workout (which could be affected by time of day, what you ate, etc). Both have merits (not the DOMS itself but how you experience the gains).
