DOMS from... tennis!

My DH and I signed up for tennis lessons, and we had our first lesson on Tues nite. Well, the instructor had us running all over the court, yelling, "The ball's not going to come to you, you've got to get to the ball!" As a result, I had a serious workout, sweat flying everywhere. And major DOMS in my forearms, lats, and glutes! Yay, tennis! We had a blast, it was so much fun... I'm a new tennis convert. Anyone else in "love" with the court (sorry, bad pun.)
 
I'm a raquetball fan, so oh yeah, I know what you mean. Never in step or even plyo's do you run, stop suddenly and turn direction and run again. DH lost 20 pounds playing raquetball.
 
DH and I used to play tennis a few times per week B.C. (before children) and we used to see how much we could make the other run. We got REALLY good workouts.

My kids are older now, so we're supposed to teach them so the whole family can play together. Can't wait!
