Dog/Paper Shredder

I read this story a couple of days ago and it made me jump out of my skin ~ and run and turn my shredder to the off position and not the standby position!!

I know my beagle sniffs around everything and our home shredder is low enough for her to get in trouble.

Thought I would pass it on ~ sorry about the graphic photo's ~ the original story I read didn't have all of them.

Omg!! ouch.
I've heard of this happening too but that victims tongue got caught.

Oh poor little guy! I hate when things like that happen to innocent animals. We have one, too - but we never leave it in the auto position. I'm going to start unplugging it now.

I'm afraid to click on the link because I'm guessing it will make me feel oogey, but I think I can guess the general idea. I read an article about small children getting injured by shredders, and ours has been unplugged since that time.

I'm with Jodi, I can't look!! But THANKS for posting this because one of my cats is super curious about our shredder (which is usually in the "auto" position) I KNEW I should have gone with my gut but tried convincing myself the slot is too small for his little paws, or whatever, to get in there. No need to leave it on "auto" anyway!! The button is officially in the OFF position!!!!

Thanks again for the warning!
