Does your family think your nuts?

I think my DH thinks I am cracked or on crack When we return home from being away, I check the computer right away and he laughs at me.This is also his office computer that I use.He as two.So in the morning he uses one, while I am typing to you guys.And he starts chatting while I am typing,(poking fun at me)"how are you guys today,did you workout today", that kind of stuff.And I always refer to you guys as "my cathe friends".If I learn anything new on here and I share it with him,I will end it with,"thats what my Cathe friends said".
Who else has family members who think your just chatting to a computer?

Lori, I know exactly how you feel. My husband thinks I should be locked up tight in a padded room somewhere. I am always checking these forums to see if I've missed something. I can't help it, I just get so excited about Cathe workouts and my fellow Catheites and he just doesn't understand. Maybe if I explain it as "you know how you feel about beer, well that's how I feel about my fellow Catheites!" Yep, that should get through to him!

my dh laughs at me all the time about this forum...as he sits next to me playing videogames like he's 12! almost everytime he comes home throughout the day i am here and he says "learn anything new?" of course, i always have! i can completely relate Lori. last week he suggested we post an abducted post to see if anyone knew which alien lie form had taken over my body. i replied that i hoped it was one with a faster metabolism!

Of course.When my father come into my bedroom and see that I am with the computer says: You are inside the Cathe forum aren't you?

Absolutely!! My teenage son calls this the fitness freaks website. He can't believe there are so many of us Catheites. He is also impressed that Cathe actually answers posts and communicates with us like we are all her friends. I feel very privileged to learn so much from everyone here. Yeah, my family thinks I'm weird-big deal.

My DH used to think I was crazy, but over time has grown accustomed to Cathe's world & my place in it. He asks all the time what's happening at Cathe's place, when are we getting the new workouts? We! The man has never done exercise since I've known him!
He also takes an interest in Cathe's crew, especially Cedie & Rhonda...he was very pleased to hear that Rhonda had moved back to New Jersey!

He thinks the funniest thing Cathe has ever said was her comment about Cedie during leg press. To paraphrase, she said "She's all happy back there! Who in their right mind is that happy when doing leg presses?" He was ROFL.

Everybody else in my family thinks I'm nuts, but who cares? ;-)

Yup. They all think I'm slightly obsessed but none will dispute the healthy condition of my mind and body. My daughter is astounded at the length of some of the posts! I tell her, "This is important stuff!" She just laughs! Seventeen years old and she doesn't "get it" yet! God bless her and her fast metabolism!

Yep, 'fraid so. Hubby thinks I have a strange obsession with Cathe. He just doesn't get it. Of course, my whole family thinks I am nuts about my exercise regiman. Too bad! They can kiss my little rear. And it stays little,in part, thanks to Cathe! Renee

I try to hide this from my family! Sounds sick I know but I often click out if I hear them coming. So...no, they don't think I'm nuts...but I probably am!
