You know it's funny, my DH took a job as a field engineer that required a lot of traveling. He had to take a class, an actual class to be an aggressive driver...for the big cities he would have to drive through...Instead of being called, defensive driving, it's actually called aggressive driving...They taught, no kidding, I went to one of the classes, they taught the class how to tailgate, how to pass with persistance by honking your horn and flashing your high beams. Wow, that company must have a few lawsuits or just a high medical insurance rate...My DH is no longer with that company...
Can you imagine, taking a course like that and mixing it with human emotions, frustration, anger, tireness, etc...=====ROAD RAGE in a big way...
My DH used to tailgate, until the car in front of him stopped short and he crashed into the back of them. He was borrowing my mother's car at the time...No one was hurt, but it shook him up enough to know road rage is not worth it...
One other time, my DH cut someone off coming out of the mall parking lot, because of his constant impatience. Well, to his surprise and my horror, the guy was so #!@$#& off he pulled out a gun and was swearing at us and pointing an actual gun at us...then he squealed his tires and drove away. We had our two children with us, I was soooo scared. We were in a nice neighborhood, too if that even matters anymore...I can't believe things like that really happens, but it does...
