It flew into its favorite tree oh, about 15 min after I managed to doze off. Got up, grumbling and swearing, ready to go out and lob rocks into the trees again. This irrational behavior seems to upset the dog, and she barked. The windows were open - apparently a barking dog doesn't agree with the bird, which suddenly shut up. I just stood there, amazed, in the middle of the living room for a few minutes and then told the dog "good girl!" Went back to bed and never heard from the bird for the rest of the night!

<--- right now has the most disgusting old picnic table with peeling paint and an icky vinyl tablecloth stapled to the top (left by the previous owners of the house)

ETA: <---just saw TiG's diagnosis and says Jeeze Louise, more bad news. <---thinks TiG is too young for arthritis and <---hopes she caught it early enough to treat it effectivly

<--'s OTHER shoulder is hurting her now (LOL:7) but it's totally different from the OA pain...<--HAS to laugh or she'll cry!:eek:
<--says that other shoulder has bugged <--on and off MINIMALLY for a little while now but not enough to worry <--. Has been getting worse since OA acted up and thinks it's cause <--was babying OA side and putting all of the work load on the other side. <--says now that OA episode is improving, <--thinks other shoulder will get better as well....That is the HOPE anyway!
<--just ate cereal as <--was FAMISHED after work out.
<--now needs to jump in shower quick, take care of DS, clean house and re-pot new flowers <--bought yesterday for <--'s yard.

<---is just overwhelmed with sick coworkers, day-to-day challenges of life with DS, crappy weather, sick cat, and last night heard that DD's friend was out partying and totalled car on way home. The story goes that she fell asleep, car was driven off the road and she blacked out till some time in the morning when she staggered to a house and called her mom. Too late, by that time, to do any alcohol tests. She is OK, but car is gone.
<---didn't do a doggone thing this weekend that could be considered fun and has to work the next one coming up
<---realizes others have it worse than <--- and actually feels better to be busy here at work instead of at home feeling sorry for self
