DD as international school day next week and she needs to make a dish to bring to school. Just big enough to feed 4-6 people and I would prefer to have something easy that you don't need a million ingredients for.

Lori, have you thought about something like Baked Ziti? It doesn't get any easier than that and most kids love it. It's an Italian dish and you can find great recipes for it all over the internet. Go to www.foodtv.com and type in baked ziti and it will bring up several versions.
Some recipes add meatballs to the mix but you could leave that out. All you need to make it is a pound of ziti pasta, a big jar of tomato sauce, and some cheese (some people just use mozzarella, or you can combine mozzarella, parmesan, and ricotta), then you bake it in the oven.
