Hi all,

I am trying to find a 30# kb. I have a 25#, and I just bought the 35# (not sure why- only because I can't find the 30# I think;)). Go Fit jumps from 25-35 lbs, and if its in kilos, its 12k or 16k (which is also a 9# jump)

I'm thinking a 30# would be the logical next step for me if I can swing the 25...

so any one have a 30# and if so, where did you find it?

TIA~

Deanie, have you tried the 35 pounder yet? The reason I ask is that I just got a 16 kg bell and I can swing it just fine with 2 hands and it works great for rows, deadlifts. I don't see me cleaning or overhead pressing it anytime soon, but I can do lots of other stuff with it.

Right.... just try swinging that 35 pounder with two hands -- I'll bet you can do it. I use a 17 pounder and a 35#.

Check Amazon.com and Overstock.com. The selection varies in both places, but if you're looking for a 30-pounder, should should be able to find one through one or both of them.

Good luck!

Ok, I'm an idiot, or not awake enough yet today! My apologies.... I have a 17# and 26#, but I have swung a 35# at the trainers quite a few times (hence my confusion).
Sorry!

Thanks---I will try the 35# for swings.... I was thinking I needed to work up to it from the 25#'er!

I will also check out amazon- I already tried overstock.com and no luck!

Thanks guys:)

I think you'll be ok with 35#. Just don't swing very high and go at a slower pace at first. Have fun!

Thanks! I just went to the basement (other wise known as my workout room;)) and tried it!!! I was surprised:eek: but I did okay...:) Yes I did take it slow and not quite up to chest level yet, but much better than I thought!!

Very happy!!:D:):D:)

Thanks guys!!

I recently bought a 30# Ader (through Amazon.com) because I felt like I needed something between my 25# and 35# bells. I really like it!

Thanks Kathryn! I just bought a 30# ader kettlebell from Amazon!!!:)

I'm excited- I've heard a lot of good things about ader bells! and I think I am set with kettle bells for a while!! LOL!!

I found a 30# kb at Sports Authority. It isn't a name brand, but it works just fine. I found that the increase from a 25# to the 30# was just right for swings and squats. Haven't tried to snatch it yet - I'm still working with the 20 and 25 on those!

If anyone is interested they sell 30# kettlebells here....

I need a heavier bell for swings as well. My heaviest is a 20 which feels really light for me so I am considering skipping the 25 and going for 30 after what I've read on here. Thanks girls! :)

ETA: WOW! There is a $27.00 difference between the vinyl coated 30 pounder and the regular "ugly" iron one. Heck, I don't need pretty that badly! It's not worth almost $30! Besides, the 30 pounder is black anyway...not what you call a PRETTY color, huh? LOL
