I HAVE A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was so awsome finding my screename as a topic when I opened the site. You are a very supportive group, thanks for that.
My baby was born on 2/3/05 at 7:17a.m. After 2 hours of normal labor, we experienced some complications and the doctor decided to do a C-section. Here I am recovering from the C-section (and an infection) and learning how to be a mother. The baby had Jundice, but responded well to the phototherapy.

Congrats to you and the little one! Glad you are both doing well despite the difficulties you encountered! Unfortunately I can not open the link from work so I will have to wait until I get home...x(

How do you like motherhood so far? I'll bet it's wonderful! Tiring, but wonderful!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! ((((((((BIG HUGS))))))))))!!!!!! I am soooo happy for you! Sorry to hear about the c/section and infection, but it is wonderful you are recovering and learning to be a mother. Glad baby is doing well! I am sure your photos are beautiful, I can't view them because I am an ofoto memeber. Crazy eh?

Congratulations! What wonderful news! I'm sorry to hear about your infection.

I read in your post to Lindzbird that your baby almost died at birth. That is so scary! I'm glad that everything worked out and your little one is responding well to the phototherapy.

Try to get some rest whenever you can. My MIL once told me to nap when the baby naps. She was so right. It really helps a lot! Good luck recovering.

P.S. I could not see your pictures either because I am not a member of Ofoto.

My baby's name is Jared Andrik, Weight:8.1 Lenght: 19". He was born at 7:17 a.m. in N.Y. He is 75% Puerto Rican (mother is 100%, father 50%) and 25% Guatelmalan (father is 50%).:+

He is Vegetarian (LOL) Only drinks soy milk. I added his pics to an easier to open site. I hope you can open it. Yes, he is the most beautiful baby in the world (for me, the father and the grandparents). He says clearly "Ay!" and only cries when he really needs something. He had a trauma after his first bath; didn't make a sound for about 4 hours. :9

Congratulations Doctorjany! Jared is a beautiful baby. Isn't it wonderful being a mom? I had to have a c-section as well. Rest up and enjoy this time with your newborn because it goes by much too fast. Nora will be six months old on Wednesday and I just don't know where the time goes!
