:+:+LOL:+:+Anne, honestly I don't think I lift heavy at all. All the weight Cathe uses, depending on how I feel, I will go 5-10 lbs. heavier. For example, in GSC&T, I will start with 25# doing bench & flyes instead of 20#. My triceps, looooooonnnnnng before I ever w/o, were always thick--someone in my office told me one day, they were formidable. I think it's all genetics with me.
Years ago when I was a member at a gym, I would:
bench 135 (with help from dh)
squat 185 (heaviest 225 a few reps)
leg press over 200 (the heaviest was 550 only 6 reps)
curls 60 (bbell)
leg ext. 80--10-12 reps
but this was all years ago. Every now and then I will do this type of w/o, but I prefer to match weights with Cathe or go a litte higher b/c I'm a thick woman.
The above were never really sets. They were more like go to failure.
