Do you ever have days where you.........

.....feel like a human garbage disposal? We have a labrador retiever and they are notorius for being garbage hounds. Well, I feel exactly like her right now. Yesterday I scoured the counters, the fridge and the freezer for food. I'm so surprised I didn't head for the trash can to see what just MIGHT be in there to eat;(. Now, in my defense, I am PMSing AND I pulled a muscle in my leg yesterday while doing my workout x( . Oh, woe is me! CALGON take me away!!!!!

It will get better, it will get better, it will get better........ :p

To make you feel better:
My day yesterday (keep in mind, I'm supposed to be on weight watchers!)
2 granola bars, frozen lunch, rice krispie treat (the big ones), movie theater butter popcorn...then I tried to work out, got dizzy, lightheaded and had to stop...
Ate huge salad with bread and butter...still felt weak and this is where I lost it:
2 cake donuts
a chili cheese hot dog w/cheddar and sour cream chips
4 popsicles
1 Butterfinger
4 Twizzlers
...
and a partridge in a pear tree.

I've decided to increase my points and cut back slightly on exercise.;(

LMAO muffin top! You win!!!! And gee, I wonder why I can't get that endurance, srength and cut look......hmmmmm???? LOL

Sally

Deana,

No, you are DEFINITELY NOT the only one:D . I know you're suppose to have a cheat day every now and then. But I don't think a cheat MONTH counts as being "okay", LOL. Which is what July was for me. Now, I think it's time for me to get back on track. I just have to be the "little train that could"
:7 .

Sally

Yup, definately have those days, especially TTOM, and have muscle fatigue, cramps, bloating and lower back ache so working out is out of the question. Then come Monday I'm ready to get back on track. :)

Days, weeks, months, it all becomes a blur after the 4th bowl of chocolate-brownie-madness ice cream.

Your not the only one, I've spent the last two weeks like that. I think every once in a while I just get tired of keeping track of everything, just plain tired. I've also been pretty stressed out lately, my sister has a physical problem going on so I'm concerned about her.

Omigod - I think my Lab and I can eat out the kitchen cabinets together!!!

*Her* binges have looked like this:

2 1/2 pounds of grapes (her latest - the vet freaked when he found out. if the two pounds of chocolate - see below - didn't kill her, nothing would)

15 banana nut muffins (with the paper cups)

2 bags of fruit breezers (with the wrappers - where the wrappers went, I have no idea, because I never saw them again)

2 pounds of chocolate covered raisins

a good "college try" at eating a whole bag of coconut fiber (didn't like it but managed to fling the bag around the sitting room, covering carpet and furniture)

one bag of horse nugget treats she found in my "going to the barn" bag. (about 25 or 30 treats)

Somehow, I think we ladies have more self-control - LOL!

Susan L.G.

P.S. I hope your leg heals quickly!

Too oftenx( I workout religiously and do fine during the day but when the sun goes down the evil voices start.....peeaaannnuuttt bbbbuuuuttteeerrrrrr:9 }( :9 }( I go through weeks of resistance and see the difference, then I start to succumb again, I don't need no stinking crackers, or toast, just a jar and a spoon:+ :+ Why can't the voices say ceeellleeerrry sttiiiiccckkks......:p

Take Care
Laurie:)

Oh Sally, I feel your pain! And I, too, wonder why I simply cannot drop this last 20 pounds... Jeez! Hmm... I'm going out for pizza this afternoon. What's wrong with this picture...

Muffin Top - yeah, I've had those days too! If it's not nail down or moving, it's in my mouth.

A funny side story on the lab... a friend of mine has a chocolate lab who is a search dog. This dog is a bit high energy and has never met a food he doesn't like. Well, Hershey (yes, his name), got into the neighbors yard one day, and my friend thought nothing of it until he got the runs all over the the place - literally - and was staggering and could hardly stand up. She immediately raced him to the vets only to find that her wonderful, talented search dog had found a large quantity of peaches and plums on the ground in her neighbors yard and ate them. Ate them ALL. The capper was that it had been hot and these fruits had been hanging around for a while, so they fermented... Oh yeah, drunken dog filled with fruit... Fortunately Hershey recovered with no side affects. Can't say the same for my friend's Exterra.

I have tears coming down my face from laughing at what your dog ate, Susan!:) And then, Chrsitine - Hershey's drunken rampage...OMG, I can't stop!!!:) :)

No Sally, you are not alone. I'm a WW lifer and need to drop just a couple of lbs. No problem right? So yesterday, first day back on plan, I eat the bottom of the jar of PB. There wasn't much left, but I made sure that I GOT IT ALL! (Yeah, Laurie, who needs crackers or toast - they just get in the way!) Followed with a reese's PB Cup, actually, two - I ate the whole pack. Came home late, pigged out on baked pita chips with cheese and salsa. And decided to add a tin roof sundae to the whole pile (this is where some self control came in, I didn't actually eat the whole sundae). I'm supposed to be eating 20 pts daily to lose weight, I ate 35 pts. And I can't blame it on TTOM!!!

Thank goodness tomorrow is always there to give us a fresh new chance!

Claude

Oh the drunken doggie rampage is just too too funny! I reallized after I posted that, I must have sounded like a very irresponsible dog owner. Either that or just the owner of a very determined starving dog - LOL!

Did you know a california tortilla burrito has 21 points!

Cripes! After I found that out, I reallized I had probabaly eaten 60 points that day. Oopsies.

And really, after the first 25 points dies it really matter? It's like pi$$ing in ocean.!:7 heehee...

Susan,

Yes, my lab and I have the same problem, LOL. She watches EVERYTHING I put in my mouth in hopes I'll drop something for her to scarf up. She's such a piggy, but we love her to pieces anyway:) .

Oh, and my leg is getting better, thank you!

Mic,

I used to keep track of my food intake also. When I stopped was when the "over eating" started. You just don't want to see all that in writing  .

I hope your sister is better real soon. I know how stressful that can be.

Laurie,

PEANUT BUTTER! YUM, my fav!!!! Who needs utensils, or anything else for that matter, just dig in, LOL.

Christine,

Your story is just toooooo funny. I'm sure not at the time though. My lab is the same way, acts as if she's starved ALL the time. Hmmmm, she and I DO have something in common :) .

Claude,

Yes, thank goodness "tomorrow" is here, I've been good today. It's not much fun, but I do feel better about myself. Guess it's a control thing over myself.
