Hi and good morning,

I went to the gym at 7 a.m, did CCV2 on the elliptical. All the TC were taking. Still had a great workout. Traveled 3.45 miles, burned 400 cal.

Power Hour....will have to go lighter on the weights I think because I have DOMS in the back of my shoulders and triceps today. :) Side abs are feeling it as well!

Well, I have been able to ward off the flu symptoms that my DH has had for the last 5 days - unfortunately, it feels like it is trying to get me again today. Honestly I do not want the flu - but then again I would rather just get it and get it out of the way.

Last night I started Cathes October 09 rotation. So yesterday was STS Meso 1 Disc 1. yikes, I had forgotten about all of those push ups. My chest and abs are sore today. Tonight is supposed to be a leg wo from Meso 2 (can't remember which one) - hopefully I am not overtaken by this bug so that I can do it. If I get sick now I may have to restart the rotation next week. Grr...
 
Hi girls,

What a busy day today. After the gym, I went to get a massage for my back (haven’t had one in a few weeks) I took the dogs for a walk, went to see an ENT (my ear is killing me). Had to skip the PT today, I did pick up the sheet with the new exercises for this week, will do the later

Karen, sorry you having the flue. Be careful with your workouts. Don’t overdue it! Nice job yesterday.

Karen: Take care...I agree with Belinda. If you feel a flu starting better go easy just in-case. Drink lots of oj! ;) Good uck with your leg workout tonight.

Belinda: It just doesn't stop with all these darn flu bugs going around. Sorry to hear about your ear. Hope it isn't serious. Take care too! :)

Belinda - Great calorie burn - that has to make you feel good. I'm sure you also enjoyed the massage.

Amelia - Enjoy that workout - it is one of my favs!

Heidi - Ah, but DOMS are a sign that are muscles are being used. Hard to remember when you can hardly move, though.

Karen - Hopefully you can keep the flu at bay.

Workout today was Rythmic Step. I forgot how complex the choreography is. I know my calorie burn would have been higher if I had been able to keep up. Gives me something to strive for.

I've decided to go back to the original workout plan when I first got laid off. I let myself get distracted by super cleaning the yard and house, but now that all is done, I can get back to the basics and myself. So, I'll do Cathe cardio in the a.m., followed by P90X weight training, as well as my runs. Since my runs are still short (3 miles, tops) and they count as walking the dog, I think it should work. So, once I get the laundry going, I'll head back down to do chest and back.

So, off to get some laundry sorted. Have a great day!
 
Hey girls, just finished my workout and it was so fun! That kickbox workout really works your legs, they were shaking by the end of 4ds legs

Heidi-PH is one of my first Cathe's and i still adore it today, i really like Cathe's hair in that one...of course she looks pretty in all her workouts!
