Today is 4ds HIS + Chest & back. I previewed that last,tricky step combo last night to make sure i can get through it today...

Hallo ladies,

I never made it to the gym this morning. After lunch I wasn’t motivated at all , have major DOMS in my butt and legs. I almost talked myself out off working out today. No energy today. After a little shopping (had my gym cloth) I decided to give it a try, if not oh well! Not sure where the energy came from today. LOL! I did CCV7, love that one! Burned 880 cal. and traveled 4.25 miles. Oh, I almost forgot! I took the dogs this morning for a 3 mile walk. I still have to work on my core/back! This is it for me today. I am so glad no more cardio for me this week! LOL!

Amelia, that is my fav. step workout;) Have fun learing it! It's a little tricky, hang in there!

Good morning everyone.

Today's plan was a run, but it turned out to be mostly a walk. I want to get my body adjusted to running in the morning, but my afternoon/evening runs are always so much better. I'm sure there's quite a a bit of psychology in all that, too. Now, off to do some errands and volunteer at school.

Belinda - Glad you decided to go to the gym after all!

Amelia - Good luck with HIS today - that one is always a mental challenge because of the choreography.

Karen - How are the DOMS today? You sound like you have great motivation for the challenge.

Heidi - Great job on your workouts. How's the closet?

Hey everyone,

My DOMS are better in my LB today, but now my UP is sore from yesterday. :confused: It was hard to do 4DS Kickbox with the sore chest and tri's! I survived though and did do some of the leg work - but not all of it. (probably 3/4's) My abs were screaming at me at the end. Its weird in this rotation there doesn't seem to be alot of ab work. Maybe its just me.

I am really pumped about the holiday challenge - I am determined to lose weight this holiday instead of gain. (anyone else with me?!) However, after further investigation of everything you have to do on the site for the challenge I'm not sure if I will have the time for it all. I am still going to do a challenge personally over the holidays - but I am just unsure about the official contest thing. Like I said - still debating....

My sister seems to have lost her steam on our own checkin that we were doing. That is disappointing. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do to motivate her - I have trouble motivating myself. Oh yeah, I may be getting a Elliptical machine to add to my basement gym! Some guy that DH works with has one that was never out of the box and he is selling it for cheap. Now if only the basement was finished. :mad: It's funny though when we were working on the basement DH said "with all of this work you better be down here using it!". I bet I use it at least 6 times a week. lol

Ok, enough chatting for me...

Amelia - I love HIS. The last segment where she puts the three combos together always gets me going. I believe there is a good song during that time as well. :)
 
workout done. 465 burned in 59mins. I still can't do that third combo. Im fine until she goes over the step w/her back to you and starts that shuffle-pivot-hitchkick business. I kept up as best i could,better than last time, guess practice makes perfect.


Karen-I love the music in HIS,very motivating. Yay on the new elliptical machine,im jealous;) Im with ya on losing weight,..i was just telling my dh yesterday how i plan on getting through next week without it messing up my goals. I will have to have thanksgiving day as my splurge meal day...should be fine.

Sherry-Great job with your run/walk this morning..have fun with your volunteering.

I am headed off to work and just wanted to quickly peek in to see how you all are today.

I ended up with a bike and TM workout today instead of MIC. I was headed out the door for a run but it started to downpour! Figures.
Anyway:
9miles on the bike
2miles on the TM
Stretch Max #3

Sorry to hear about your Sis....only she can change her mind on getting fit. It is a tough place to be with no ambition. Something has to click and she will be back on target.

Oh and here's to the challenge of eating as best you can for the holidays and not gaining any weight back you have recently lost! Doing the same here! :)

Busy weekend ahead for me. Closet is in place...have a few holes to fix but at least it is in. ;)

Sherry, how did your walk/run go today? You need to get used to it, takes time!

Karen, great job on your workout today. Great news on the elliptical! Maybe you still can convince your sis? BTW, you still can stay on track not to gain weight over the holidays. Let’s do it together! I am in!
