Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope everyone enjoyed their celebration. We had a house full of people that left today. It's finally quiet here. However, no workouts. reason #1: My left hip is sore (left IB band?) so I stopped the 1 rm's and am thinking that I shouldn't be starting STS, but need to systematically start exercising slowly and build up to the heavy reps. I think I was pushing myself too hard. Reason #2: we had to put our kitty down yesterday morning. I spent most of new year's eve night (new year's morning) just holding her to say goodbye. It took all my energy to hold it together with everyone here, so there was nothing left to push myself with. She was 17-3/4, and has had problems over the past couple of years, so it was time. I'll miss her, but now she is content.
So anyway, on to lighter stuff. I know I keep waffling on my workouts and rotations, but I think the pushing with irregularity is hurting me, so I'm going back to basics. I need to keep the reps lo right now to avoid hurting myself. I'll look through the rotations and see what I come up with.
Belinda - You are so good about checking in regularly. Nice job getting your workouts in with all the holiday bustle going on. Und, meine Deutsch ist nicht sehr schlecht. Ich kanne deine neues Jahre Wunschen an FB lesen. (I'm sure it's a bit off gramatically, but you get the gist.)
