i just starting some packing. sat and sun i pulled up the carpet in the hallway, rolled it up, moved it. put some of it in the dumpster. saving some just in case, we find out we really aren't approved. still waiting to hear from the bank for sure. boy would that suck lol. anyway, swept, mopped and some scrubbing where the carpet was. so for each room i'll be doing that, later when the furniture gets moved. so doing stuff like that or cleaning really fast sometimes counts as functional exercise. any extra moving is better than if i was sitting.
i get in these moods. feeling so impatient. i wish i could put everything in a box and go in 2 days. that actually might be possible. its about 1000 sq ft. it's really not that big. but i learned the last time we moved, there's so much more stuff that it seems to be. well that's not really going to happen, but that's what i want to do. like pull up all the carpet now, sleep in sleeping bags untill it's time to load it all in the truck. then there's the confusion of what to pack first because we won't need it for a really long time. stuff i can't pack untill right before we leave, and sometimes it's hard to figure out what's in between. i'm packing alot of clothes. i have no problem narrowing my outfits. hardly anything fits for winter anyway. plus i don't go anywhere. dh's and the kids i'll wait to narrow their clothes alot because they still have lots of school and work. i'm packing stuff they don't wear often and out of season stuff.
it's amazing how empty and open it is, just because the carpet is gone. and it echoes. we'll be taking out all the carpet when we move. when we moved in there wasn't a scrap of carpet in the whole place. and really old nasty looking tile instead. we put in alot of our own tile. and carpet rememants.
well i'm glad you 2 are doing well with your workouts. hopefully everyone else is too.
