MIS is done:p Great full body workout, didn't do the abs. Will do my ab/back wo later.

I haven't decided what im doing today..i need to do cardio + some weights.

Is anyone else having trouble with this site? i will click on a thread and some of the replies aren't there when i click to leave a reply. then my reply will disappears but to only be back later:confused:(think i hear the twilight zone music)

Hey everyone. I am feeling a little bit down these days. My holiday plan for eating well, etc. has been going downhill for the last two weeks. I hate to admit it, but I have had no self control over my eating. My workouts haven't been as often or as long as I would like either. I am bumming myself out. Sorry, if I am being a downer.

Last night I was trying to find a new rotation to start this week. I decided on one of Debbies Circuit rotations. Low max was supposed to be on the agenda today. Unfortunately I did not get up early enough to be able to do that one. Then I just ended up sleeping in because I am a lazy butt. :eek: Now I feel like I let myself down. I will see what happens tonight. If DH doesn't have any plans or want to go CC skiing again then I will try to workout.

Just one more week of this holiday madness and then I can get down to business...
 
Good morning!

I just finished MMA: Kickbox. It was a great workout, and just what I needed to loosen up. My upper pecs are sore from the incline flys yesterday, and the hamstrings are kind of tight from the dead lifts. I feel great now.

Laundry is already in progress. Trying to clean up the house. My parents will be up later this week with my sister's kids. the youngest is 2, and our house is no way toddler proof, so the kids are helping get it ready - need floor space for sleeping and all little things (including DS's legos) need to be picked up.

Belinda - How's your visit with DD going? How much longer will she be over?

Amelia - I'm not having trouble posting, but I am trying to get the workout manager app working with FB. When I'm done posting, I'll try again because I don't see an update there yet.

Karen - We all have down days (weeks, months). Don't let yourself get too down. After the 1st, we'll on jump back on the wagon together. Heck, I've been off work for 3 months - you'd think I'd have gotten my fitness act together, but didn't happen. It will come together.

Have about 2" of snow today. Once it stops, will send the kids out to shovel it all. Then getting together will a couple of other ladies to get the Girl Scout Cookie sale stuff together. I'm not only doing the cookies for the troop, but also for the entire neighborhood. Not sure what I'm getting myself into.

I just got the FB/WO mgr link to work. We'll see how this goes. Maybe if it's more public, I'll have more motivation to keep it going.
 
Sherry - Thanks for the kind words, I do appreciate that. :) I know I shouldn't have a pitty party and be all like "woe is me". I plan to be right with you next week on getting back on track. If I can help it I may try to wiggle into it this week as well. I think you are right though about your work outs being public - then all of your friends will be able to see what you are (or aren't) doing. I hadn't realized that was even part of the workout manager. I need to check that out...

I didn't work out tonight. Instead DH wanted to go out cross country skiing again. There is a state park near us that has lit trails for skiing until 10pm. So we went over there and skied for a hour. The first hill I wiped out on. It had a curve in it and I was going too fast and got off the CC tracks. My skis managed to fall off in the process. After that I was very leary about any other hills. Towards the middle of the adventure we came upon a big, long hill. I was like no way. I walked down. I don't want to press my luck on these new contraptions and break a ankle or something. It was fun though. DH and I had a blast. :) I really like being able to do something active with DH. Normally he doesn't do a whole lot of exercise. (seems after he ran his ultra marathon a few years back he lost his motivation) :confused:

ANyway, just trying to catch up on some stuff tonight. I will be back tomorrow!
