Good morning,

My plan today is Insanity" Plyometric Cardio Circuit" & legs/abs! And more cleanmax!

I will be back to report my workout!

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

This has been a challenging week for me. We recently took our kids to the dr. They needed check-ups, make sure all updated on shots for moving to a new school and state. Since then DH has been emphasizing to me and them they need to eat more. more often, more calories any way i can get them in the kids. they are normal sized for their age and height, on the tall side. dd5 and ds 10 are especially lean. they are a little picky and have less of an appetite at times than ds 7. he likes almost everything. still they aren't overweight, they just need to eat.

i knew this before, i think since i've been losing weight and literally staying out of the kitchen as much as possible. it's harder to give them frequent snacks and such. i hadn't been giving snacks often at all. and on the weekend when they play games they forget they are even hungry untill their turn is over. anyway..

this is totally opposite of the mentality i've been teaching myself for years. find food everyone likes, healthy, low in fat. now i'm trying to get food i don't like, calorie dense, and somewhat healthy. food i don't like, so i'm not so tempted to eat what i'm making for them.
so at the grocery store last night it took me alot longer than normal to choose what to buy. it's difficult to find nuts, cheese, and dried fruit i don't like.

so i came up with a battle plan. i can have as much greens, beans/legumes as i want. so i got lots of frozen spinach. lentils and rice. i can make those into lentil soup and veggie burgers. going to make that up this weekend. then thru the week at dinner mine is already made. i can still have some of what they are having, but lentils and such really fills me up. so i won't want alot. and italian stewed tomatoes. i love tomato soup.

for them i got rice mixes, boxed pudding (i'll make it with whole milk), feta cheese(not a huge fan),walnuts-couldn't think of anyother nuts i DON'T like, raisins and dried prunes-i like them but not enough to eat very many. frozen chicken for all of us, lots of stuff for sandwhiches, pb. eggs and turkey bacon. bagels, english muffins. if it was more calorie dense i was trying to think of it and buy it. got dried figs too, i really like these, but i can do moderate amounts remembering the kids really like them.

so now i feel better. i know i have a plan. i won't fall back and make the same mistakes i did when they were babies and toddlers. everytime they eat a snack i want some too, and all carbs. i maintained this week. i'm ok with that. i just had a big loss this week. made some pb cookies wed. did really well, only had a few bites. they are so rich. it's like eating butter. so i really can't eat too many. i don't like the taste of fat. except evoo.

also quick update on the house. we are scheduled for closing on dec.17. still waiting on the bank to give us the ok on the loan. then it's haul azz to get all these boxes moved. hopefully, they'll let us know early this week.

Hey quick check-in...

I did the High Reps workout today and boy was it a goodie! :)

Belinda: Great job on your workouts today! :)

Kristina: Having had boys...they are always hungry! It is hard to fix meals for them and also your own...my crockpot is my perfect way to fix that problem. :)

My kids are all in that range...very tall and thin! I feel very short these days but I am average height too...5.5! LOL!

Hello to all I missed today!
