DO WHAT YOU WANT! JUST GET IT DONE!" for Aug 15, 2009

Morning girls,

Today I felt like kicking myself in the butt, so I chose to do Mindy Mylreas Interval Express! Wow! What a workout. I was really pushing it. My HR monitor was always in the 170s by the end of the interval blasts. The last one with the power lunges actually pushed it to 180! I thought I was going to pass out. :p I burned 553 calories by the time it was all through and then because I was still "up there" - I took my dog for a short walk to cool down. Total calories burned 618! Boy do I feel great!

Anyway, its off to starbucks :p Then to the bookstore and random shopping. I hope everyone has a great workout today!
 
Today is a rest day for me...but im sure i will do some stretch max and some pilates before the day is over. Thought about doing some latin dance too. I got in an extra cardio last night..took my cassie girl for a walk( labmix).

Oh and im the proud the owner of P90x:eek: I should have it by this time next week. Im starting it on the 24th:D im excited...ive seen some clips of it and it looks intense but Cathe is intense too;) I think the real challenge for me is the meal program. I do plan on eating one 'cheat' meal a week. Ive got to get a pull-up bar( i know i won't be able to even hang from it now,LOL but one day i should be able to do alteast one pull-up)

Karen: Wow! Awesome workout! What type of workout is Mindy Mylreas? (Compared to Cathe's interval workouts) Using weights or none? Step or aerobic?

Amelia: Oh yeah! Congrats on your new worlout series! Let us know what you think. I have been eyeing this also. ;) I purchased a pull-up bar for my boys at Walgreens about $20.00. It is great for different hand holds for pull-ups, chin-ups, push-ups and sit-ups.
Nice job on the extra cardio too.

Very busy here. I thought today was Saturday...? Work is what I have been doing so far.
No workout yet. I had enough time for just my upper yesterday. So I guess today should be a longer cardio session.

Hi girls,

Sorry I didn't post my workout this morning. DH and I went for a 45min.run this morning, we also took the dogs for a 30 min. walk. It finally stopped rainingl, it was so nice outside today.

DH and I just came back from visiting my sister's in Nuenberg. We had a fantastic time, we ate way to much:confused:

I am to tired for personals, but I have lot's of time tomorrow.

Looks like everyone is having a great workout.
