Good morning girls,

Yesterday I did take my dogs for a walk.

I woke up with my nose blocked again it's been blocked most of the day. I don't get it. One day I feel good, the next day I can't breath? I also saw the doctor this morning again; the meds are hurting my stomach. He gave me different meds for my stomach; I am hoping this will work. I am so tired of this. I can't wait for this to clear up.


Today I will take my dogs for a walk!

Today is a dreaded leg workout...:rolleyes: can't stand working my legs. Im not sure what im doing yet,maybe 4DS legs.

Belinda: Do you think that you have allergies on top of this infection? Make sure you eat before taking the meds this might help. I feel terrible for you that this is going on.
Enjoy you walk this will relieve some stress for you.

Amelia: I am with you on the leg workouts! I have been skipping them due to a tight hamstring. Running or biking doesn't seem to bother it as long as I do a really good stretch out after.

Heidi- Im crossing my fingers that the race doesn't have too many hills(unless you want hills?) Enjoy your workout today! What time is your race agian?

I will glad when my Dd is out of school for the summer...i want to sleep late:confused: getting up a 6am everyday is getting real old:rolleyes: then i work on saturdays so i get to sleep late on sundays,i look forward to my sundays:D
 
Morning everyone. I'm tired.

Today was STS Disc 23 - Legs. Fun fun. The workout went by really quick. During the breaks my dog decided I needed to pay attention to him and I had to give him massages on my rests. Silly dog.

My calves are killing me this morning. During TBL last night I did these little spouts of 15 seconds on, 15 seconds off of various exercises (jumping jacks, plyos, etc..) I'm feeling it today.

Did anyone else watch TBL last night? I feel bad for Laura.

Heidi - When is your race? Tomorrow? How long?

Amelia - Which leg workout did you decide to do?

Belinda - Maybe your body could tell that you were going to jump into STS again when you were able to breath and then blocked itself up again so that you would continue to rest?? I'm sure it will pass soon enough. The walk will probably do you some good.

Race is Saturday the 18th. Starts early: 9am sharp. Which means getting up around 6 to have a light breakfast with no coffee! If I drink coffee I will be running to the portapotty while I should be running. ;)

Amelia: I know what you mean about enjoying some sleep in time! I get up between 5:30 and 6 everyday to get DS rolling. I spend the next 2 hours waiting on him! I should just sleep until 7 and then wake him I guess. He is more than likely to miss that bus anyway so I have to drive him. GRRRR

Race: Ipswich MA Time: 9am Name: Chase the Gorilla down Argilla Rd. 5K. :) Silly race!

I hope you all don’t mind me still checking in with you all? I did take my dogs for a walk. I will try to go for a 3 mil. walk. I also did SM with the bands. If my nose stays open, I will do a 10 min. ab workout. I need to do something, I am going crazy.

Heidi, Monday I got tested for allergies. The test showed negative! I do eat before taking all those meds, otherwise I get sick. Your race sounds like fun! I will be cheering for you.Are you planning on doing the 6 month STS rotation?

Karen, I just hate missing so many STS days. I am so behind. I am hoping to start STS on Monday! Great job with your leg workout.

Heidi-Thats a funny name for a race,lol! Im sure its for a great cause though...just a funny name. I will be cheering you on at the finish line!!!

Hey to everybody that follows! I finished my workout earlier..i decided on watching a movie on the treadmill( An Officer and a Gentlemen:eek:;), love Richard Gere) then i did my own mix of leg workout,using no weights I just didn't feel like doing any weight work...i guess i got lazy:eek:. I did do about 50 squats & 50 lunges, and some fire walkers. I will do a real Leg workout friday.

It took all my mental motivation to get my butt on the treadmill today...just wanted to lay around all day:rolleyes: I knew i would feel better if i ever got on it! And i did;)
