Good Morning

Its been raining here, off and on, for about a week now. The rain was real heavy overnight....we live on a lake and the shoreline is about 15ft from us:( and there is more rain to come...

We will have to evacuate if it gets too close:(. The school is closed today too...there are too many roads washed away. Im a little worried, couldn't really sleep last night.

I will keep you guys updated.

My rotation today calls for a rest day. But I will get in a CC on the treadmill after DH wakes up this afternoon.

My higher calorie day yesterday was good...i had REALLY bad cravings last night. But i MADE myself chew gum because i knew they would eventually pass;)

Belinda...how is everything? I hope ok...

i will bbl with some personals.

Oh Amelia! That would be making me nervous too! Hopefully it won't get too much higher! Are you putting sandbags around the property? Where is your treadmill? Hopefully higher up so it doesn't get runined by any water.

Hey Karen: How did your workout go last night or was it a rest day?

Today I am calling it a rest day for I didn't sleep practically all night! I am soooo exhausted this morning! I drove my son to school and had to turn around to pick him up again. The nurse sent him home with an ear infection. Now I have to take him to the doc.
It is going to be one of those days!

Hi ladies!

Can I join you again? I ran into Amelia over at the myfitnesspal P90X boards when we were both just starting a rotation, but looks like we've both stopped. Anyway, I did my best weight loss/getting fit back when we were doing BFL together a couple of years ago. Since then, I've gained all that weight back and then some. I'm temporarily laid off (as of last Friday), so I'm using the next month or so for a fitness blitz and getting the house in order. Fitness-wise I plan to do some Cathe cardio every morning, first thing, then P90X in the later morning, and even throwing in a short (mile or so) run. All this cardio (yes, a lot, but I'll listen to my body) should burn off some of this fat. The eating part has always been my battle, but if I stay active enough, I shouldn't be tempted by food, as often, right?

This morning I did Step Fit - a fun oldie. Here is bit, I'll do Chest & Back from P90X here shortly. I had planned to paint outside today, but it's raining, so plan B is laundry.

Amelia - I hope you survive the rain down your way. When did you stop P90X? I stopped after doing some very intensive yard work which hurt my elbow. It's ok now, so I'm starting over.

Heidi - Enjoy your rest day, even if it is running your DS around to the doc.

WELCOME BACK SHERRY! :) Missed ya!

I am currently home waiting on my other Son to finish removing his tire to be taken to the repair shop. He got a flat over the weekend I guess.
My other sons appointment isn't until 2PM to check his ear. Hopefully it won't require meds.

Sherry: If we report our foods as well as the workouts for the day would that help keep everyone on track? ;)

Breakfast: Total W/1% milk, banana, coffee
Lunch: 4 slices of turkey, lowfat mozzarella stick, coffee
snack: 1/4C sunflower seeds raw and unsalted, 2tbls raisins and 1tbls dried dates.
Dinner: planned: Grilled greek chicken salad

Lots of water! Don't forget this!!! ;)
