Morning girls...sorry I've been MIA the last few days, just kinda lurking:eek: Nothing exciting going on...

No news on the job, so i guess whoever else they interviewed got it. What a load of crap:mad: I use to be a patient there...not anymore and YES I'm being bitter about it:p. Im sending out more resumes soon...im not going to give up. The right job is for me out there, somewhere.

the good news is that my DH got a little bonus at his work and were going to just blow it on junk(lol)! im getting an elliptical:eek: its not a super duper nice one (has a smaller stride for short people,LOL) but it will do for me:D I can't wait to get it. It will be today or on DH's next off day...sunday.

Well, for the past few days i have been kinda dilly danting with workouts. I did Jillians 30 day shred one day, then took a rest day(I did cut grass and walk the dog) yesterday was Jillians back in action...i tell ya, Jillian Michaels has good workouts that are tough and get the heart rate up but Man, why do i feel like i have to workout to Cathe in order to get a 'real' workout in? Its like i haven't worked out at all this week? Weird. She is responsible for getting me to where i am physically...maybe thats why? Anyhoot, i plan on doing something by her today.

Karen-Bummer about the school adding credits...nice workout yesterday.

Sherry-I love Turkey Tacos...we had them monday and unfortunately i think my DH and kids are getting tired of them..guess i love them too much. Nice workout on the stair master yesterday.

Everyone seems to be MIA lately. I felt like I was checking in with my sister again for a few days there....

Today I did MMA Boxing. I guess I had a OK workout. My neck/head hurt with the jumping in the first round - but thankfully that went away. My dang dog went out and was barking at who knows what at 1AM last night. I had to go out there and yell at him to get him inside. Then I locked his doggy door so that he couldn't get out again. Oh what I wouldn't do for a full nights sleep without any interruptions.

Amelia - I know what you mean about other instructors. The only other instructors that I feel are as good as Cathe are Mindy and Amy. I get kind of bored with cathe workouts if I do them too frequently. I think I really need to start doing more yoga. I keep saying that - but it never happens.

Well, no work out today. I've been taking a later lunch so I can hit the fitness center after the lunch crowd since I'm supposed to be more flexible. Then, as I'm leaving my desk I'm told that there is a mandatory meeting in a few minutes. So I ate lunch then went the meeting, which i don't think needed to be last minute notice. As soon as I got home, DD and I headed off for a Girl Scout cookie celebration for top sellers. Now, just getting home and getting everyone to bed, so i guess all in all it's a rest day.

And I agree that I feel like I need to do Cathe workouts, though Tony does the same thing. Haven't tried Jillian yet. I need to check if the library has her.

Amelia - Smile! Enjoy that Elliptical! Questions though - what am I doing wrong if my toes start to get tingley? Only happens on the elliptical, and I've been hesitant to ask. But, after a time, the downward pressure gets to my toes. I don't tend to go as long on this machine as others, yet several people swear by them.

Karen - Wishing you a full night's sleep tonight. Our dog enjoys her sleeping nights and has decided that she no longer wants to get up with me in the morning, but would rather sleep in until the others get moving an hour later. I think she's holding it against me that we no longer take as many runs/walks together since I started doing more cardio during the day at work.

Good Morning!

Todays workout will be 30mins on the elliptical then some upper body with mm.

Sherry-I did some research on the numbing/tingling feeling in the toes while doing the elliptical and they suggest to rock back and forth on your feet so you an take the pressure off the toes. They also recommend doing the elliptical backwards to ease the pressure...not sure about that.

Karen-I wanted to ask you what was your favorite workouts by Mindy and Amy? I need to order some new workouts...im so bored with what i have.
