If you can afford to, I would stay at one of the monorail accessible resorts. It is alot easier to get back and forth from the Magic Kingdom and your hotel for some much needed down time.
Be prepared for a slower visit. Accept the fact that you are not going to see alot, as your little one will really dictate what you end up being able to do on this trip. Use a stroller that reclines, it is great for a nap in the middle of a park.
We went with our youngest when he was about 1 1/2 years old, and it was fun, but tiring. Lugging the "baby equipment around" got to be a pain, but at the time you just do what you have to do.
