Cathlete
I am new to cathe but not to exericse. I am 130 and would like to get to 120. I have basic step + body fusion and just got boot camp + muscle endurance. I'd like to lose weight/fat and define/shape muscle. My problem is I dont know what to feed my body. What is clean diet I've read on some of the posts. Anyone has any ideas on how I can see results faster? I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks.
Carmen

Hi Carmen,

My husband and I have seen good results doing "low carb". We started with Adkins diet, and now have mixed it up on our own, but mainly stay away from sugars, pastries or any type of pasta...
If you read the Adkins book from start to end, you will see how eating lean meats along with rich in fiber greens makes such a diffrence and how excluding potatos, carrots and other carbs makes you feel great and full of energy!

I have tried low calorie low fat diets and failed not to mention starved. Following a low carb diet has helped me feel good, full of energy and I am not starvig!!! I can eat....
Of course dont forget about cathe, adding her to my daily routine has helped the most!

Hi Carmen.

Myself and a few others here on the forum have had good results with calorie staggering or zigzagging! I lost 10 pounds in 10 weeks and my bf % went down by 3-4%!!! This is, ofcourse, coupled with a good Cathe work out routine! ;)

You have to calorie count which can be a pain but it's sooo worth it!!!:)

If you are interested, pm me and I'll give you more information. It's alot to explain in detail here on the forum. :)

My daughter lost 26 lbs (gained her freshman year) this summer with WW Core plan. Its all about clean eating (this is not the points WW).

My son and I were not trying to lose weight but ate so much better and felt so much healthier :)

Proper nutrition is the most important aspect of a healthy lifestyle. It also helps mprove your exercise performance. Clean eating makes a huge difference! Not to worry...occassional cheats are not only allowed, but encouraged!

For starters, avoid processed foods as much as posible. Eat fresh and lean!
