I had a snack earlier. Just went into my kitchen and found one-half banana in the silverware drawer, a peanut butter covered knife in the fruit bowl, and a jar of peanut butter in the sink.

Now, if I could just find my bottle of water?

Oh Paula! How perceptive of you. Actually, they're not so little anymore (so I can't blame it on sleepless nights). I am proud mom of 4 boys. And I homeschool them.

ETA: Yeah, Sabrina. And my toothpaste in my make-up caddy, etc.

Oh yeah Melody! I've been known to go hunting for the book I was reading and find it in the fridge. And I cannot count the number of times I walk into a room and forget what the @!#$$%$@!! I went in there for....

Christine, I'm LMAO about the sunglasses. I can't tell you how many times I've been in a panic because I couldn't find my prescription sunglasses only to locate them on my head.

OK, Sarah & Sabrina you have me LOL. I just finished my w/o and guess what...I found my water bottle in the DVD cabinet when I went to get my w/o DVD. You didn't think I was really looking for it, did ya? Well, I was.

And by the way, my DSs watched and laughed at me for 10 mins while I searched for my favorite pink pen to mark their school work - yep, behind my ear.

I could go on & make all of you feel real good just from this week's "failing brain escapades". But I'll let the rest of you try to make me feel better now. Fes up.

Just last week I put my cereal away in the cupboard with the dog and cat food. And I've done the milk in the cupboard, cereal in the fridge thing.

Funny thing though. I can ALWAYS remember where I left the chocolate

Yeah, I do the milk in the cupboard, cereal in the fridge too! I also do the look all over for my car keys that are in my hand. I'm really glad to know that I am not the only one who does these things.
