I live in Dallas. I just asked someone else here and they've never heard of it either, maybe we don't have them here.

I live in the West and we don't have Devil Dogs either but I think a "SusieQ" is the same thing. Have you heard of them?

I'm so glad someone else asked this! I've never heard of them either.

The only thing I can think of up here (western Canada) that might match the description is maybe a Hostess cupcake or King Don. Is that even close?

Wow, it's so hard to believe that there are actually parts of the U.S. where they don't sell Devil Dogs!!

They are kind of similar to Suzy Q's (which I LOVE)... but the cake part isn't like a Suzy Q... it's lighter brown and more dense, and shaped like a hot dog They are really good, and I think I heard Cathe say in a post a loooong time ago, that they are her weakness! They even make them in a reduced fat version, but those don't taste good. Even though I love them, I never buy them. They are full of fat and all kinds of preservatives. I'm sure they are a real artery clogger!! I guess it wouldn't be so bad to have one once in a while, but the problem is that it's hard to just have one and then not have any more for days!! Once you get started....

They are made by Drakes... maybe there's a website you could order them from???!!!
