Did you see the season finale? What did you think? I thought it was good, I can't wait until the next season starts. I think the new family must have moved in through the witness protection plan. Who buys a house without seeing it. Lots of fun stuff for the next season.

I thought it was really good. It tied up some loose ends (what happened to the plumber's girlfriend and why Mary Alice commited suicide) but left lots of cliff-hangars to keep us wondering until next season. Almost everyone (except Edie) was left with a story line that will be interesting to follow up on. Rex's death was a surprise to me! I think Bree will be investigated because the doctor thinks she's been feeding him potassium.

If I were (the hunky plumber?), I wouldn't be so happy to find out that the psycho kid was my son!
 
Yes! I thought it was an excellent season finale. Witness Protection is a good theory. I'm with Kathryn on Mike finding out Zach is his son. Not only is he a psycho - he's got really bad hair.

I was also thinking the same thing about Bree and the potassium. Of course, they'll probably find his prescription and it will be traced back to psycho-pharmacist.
 
OMG, I can't believe how good the show was last night! Great stuff, great cliff hangers for next year. I was absolutely shocked that Rex died, I'm bummed about that. Kind of liked him even if he was a bit on the strange side. This storyline with Bree should be interesting for next year.

Yes, I'm sure Mike is estatic about Zach being his son. How weird is that??? I didn't see that one coming.

I wonder if they will keep (can't think of her name right now, she's married to Carlos) pregnant. Loved what the boyfriend said to Carlos, OMG, that was just too funny.

I've noticed that Edie hasn't had much of a storyline lately. I wonder if she will be brought back next year? I like Nicolette Sheridan but boy does she look nasty lately. You sure can tell she's had some sort of face lift done (or many!) She was so pretty in Knots Landing, now her lips don't move the right way. What a shame.

Watching this show is the fastest hour of the day. I agree about Nicolette Sheridan not looking too good. I think it's too much makeup. She is beautiful. What about Lynette (?) going back to work? I kept thinking she would jump up and down with glee. Melissa
 
I was interrupted by my phone ringing just as the call about Rex came in. I don't know if I missed something, but could this be a set up? Is Rex trying to find out the truth about the potassium?

Anything is possible, I suppose, and I kind of thought of that myself, but he looked pretty bad when he wsa writing that note to Bree.

I wondered the same thing but agree with the others that either way Bree is in very deep doo doo because of that whack job pharmacist.

And Mike having a son? Oh poor Susan! That kid is a freak & yeah, totally bad hair. I don't even feel sorry for him. He was a freak before he knew his parents stole him so he doesn't even have that as an excuse. I almost expected the show to end with a gun shot as Mike walked into the house.
 
Somehow i think Bree's husband Rex is still alive and that they are trying to find out what Bree's been up to (the whole high potassium bit).

And i missed the part w/ Zack and Mrs. Hubers sister(can't remember the name), did he kill her??? I stepped out of the room for just a second, and dh said he hit her with an ax or something.

My favorite part of last nights episode was between Lynette and her husband. It was so great the way he told her he was going to be a stay at home dad.
 
Rex (can't think of his real name at the moment) was on Good Morning American this morning and they did take him off the show. He made the comment that the show is called "Desperate Housewives" and not "Desperate Husbands" and that he knew he wouldn't be on the show long.
 
Well, I guess I'll have to hang onto the edge of this cliff for a while. It was a good season finale and I'll be watching for more.

Oh Sabrina you dashed my hopes. These two seemed like they were on their way back. Now Bree is really in for some trouble. Did you see what scene they cut from the finale?

I got to see it but my kids were excited and loud while I was trying to watch it because they were going to get their report cards from school and their summer vacation has begun. I do know the women were all sitting at the hospital waiting room talking. They told Susan that she needed to get the journal turned in to the police. Didn't catch the rest. Sorry! Maybe someone else can fill us in on the rest.
 
Mrs. Huber's sister was not killed. Don't you remember Edie coming to the door at Mike's house to warn him that she had been beaten up and taken away in an ambulance? Zach hit her with a baseball bat.

I think Lynette is going to love going back to work.

When this show is on (Or Alias, or Lost) I don't answer the phone or leave the room. Actually, I have a DVR so I can pause it. But I still don't answer the phone. It just annoys me when people call.
 
I also thought we'd hear a gunshot when Mike walked into the house. Thats what I told my dh would happen but it didn't. LOL!!!

I forgot about Lynnette's situation, that was good how Tom told how it was going to be. I would think she'd be happy about it, but she didn't look it. Can't wait for next year!!!

Ditto on the bad hair-Zach thing! Nasty!

I was expecting the gunshot too!, but I think he actually entered Susan's house not his.

I'm pretty sure Zach attacked Mrs. Huber's sister with a hockey stick. Funny how we all saw something different.

i think that rex faked his death...he seemed so determined to look at his chart then all the sudden hes gone? no way. hes gotta come back sometime. Overall I thought this episode was awesome!
 
You know, that was the one thing that really surprised me. I was not expecting Rex to die. WTH happened? He seemed OK, ready to go to surgery, & then all of a sudden he was dead. It didn't make sense.
 
I thought it was great too. All I have to say is that I don't think Lynette's husband realizes what he is getting himself into.

I kind of thought that Rex was faking it too, but if the actor actually says he was written off the show that throws out that theory. I was glad they actually had Bree break down though. When she got off the phone and just went back to polishing the silver I was beginning to think she was a little psychotic.
