Beth,

I think you can use whatever brand you like. I have tried a lot of brands and Jay Robb is the only brand that doesn't taste like wallpaper paste (or what I imagine that would taste like :) ) and it is the only brand without a lot of additives.

I buy mine at the Vitaminshoppe, they do have a website (www.vitaminshoppe.com) but I cannot find Jay Robb Vanilla on there anymore, the local branch store has though. I just went through the health food section at my neighborhood grocery store and they carry it now. Our Whole Foods store here carries it too.

As to my recipes, some are from a book that I bought in Germany but most of the recipes are my "invention". I get bored with the same flavor day in day out and experiment a lot. I probably have about 200 recipes now. Maybe I should write a book :+ :7 Let me know what ingredients you like and I can send you a few more recipes.

I don't particularly like plain soymilk but I use it for some protein shakes.

3 TBSP protein powder
3/4 to 1 cup soymilk
6 to 7 strawberries (frozen or fresh)
1/4 tsp vanilla
pinch of ground red pepper (NOT cayenne pepper - it's red pepper corns)

3 TBSP protein powder
1 cup soymilk
1 small banana
2 tsp dark ground chocolate (or cocoa powder)
1 pinch of cinnamon
1 pinch of kardamom

Hope this helps

Thanks Carola. I like the everyday ingredients, fruits, but I am putting out my feelers. For this week I have covered. Anything with apples, oranges & grapes for next week.
