delivery confirmation ??

i was expecting an order and when it wasn't in the mail yesterday i figured today but for the heck of it i checked the confirmation number today. it shows as delivered to lynchburg,va yesterday at 5pm. well i will tell you i certainly didn't receive a package yesterday. does that mean its still enroute to me via my post office?i am really nervous that the idiot the fills in for my mailman put it in the wrong mailbox again and some ppl in this apartment building are just not honest enough to bring it back. well there are some honest ppl but a lot will probably try pawning off my amy dvds at the hobby shop that buys all dvds workout or otherwise.

thanks for any idea you all can give. i want to give the benefit of the doubt that i will be getting them today and that they just scanned it last night at put it on the truck for delivery today.

I don't know the answer to your question but you should find out the policy of the company you ordered from. You should be able to get a replacement or a refund if your pkg got lost and never made it to you.

A call to the Postmaster could fix it.

The delivery confirmation scanners that the carriers use I guess are problematic.

Verizon Wireless screwed up a shipment of a phone. They wouldn't accept my PO Box, had to have my physical address. Then they sent the package by mail anyway. The problem is the PO doesn't deliver to my physical address. The tracking number system said the PO attempted delivery and left a notice. I printed that message and drove to the PO and got the package myself, spoke with the Postmaster (one of my many bosses).

It all worked out in the end.

OMG!! just as i was about to call the PO the folks upstairs came down with my package and my netflix movie. they said they already called the main office. its the fill ins there is a man and woman who usually cover a route for our regular mailman and half the time they are on the phone not paying attention to where they are throwing the mail. glad it went to them upstairs instead of some others. i have had SASE and trades lost this way.thanks for your advise, i am going to call them anyway and let them know that alot mail mix ups have been going on.
