December Fat Loss

Happy Friday the 13th! : ) Today was BM2 BC premix (my favorite!), yesterday was Amy's Advanced Step Challenge II, and Wednesday I did FT followed with LIS CS. I will put those two workouts together again soon, I really liked it. I've never really known where to put CS, it's so short, it makes a perfect add on.

We're supposed to be getting a snow storm this weekend, so I'm taking a rest day tomorrow and will try to get my cleaning job finished by tomorrow evening. I'm really looking forward to starting M2 this week!

Hi ladies,

I'm back on track after 3 rest days this past week. Yesterday was disc 15 (back & biceps), and tabatacise 1-5 plus core #2! Today calls for Disc 14 (legs) and cardio of chocie-probably KPC.

I scored a PS4 today so my kids Christmas are taken care of. They all wanted something expensive so they are only getting the 1 large ticket item and a few stocking stuffers. I still need to purchase for my in-laws family where we draw names and also for my side of the family. I have a large family, so we have the boys stuff a stocking for a boy and girls stuff a stocking for girls.

Half the Christmas cards are ready to be mailed and hopefully I'll finish the second half today. The Christmas tree is going up today as well as cleaning out the girl's closet, wrapping gifts and rearranging the kitchen cabinets. Busy busy today!

Tina-BM2 is such a fun w/o with so many premixes. My favorite premix is Cardio Blast! Guess you'll be starting Meso 2 this week, right?

Good morning Ladies! Today was Lo Max. I usually do kickboxing on Tuesday, but my upper body is so sore from doing M2D13 yesterday, there was no way I could punch this morning. Sunday was CLB plus the standing portion of XT Legs. I'm really enjoying the slower tempo of Meso 2.

Diana, I've been sorting drawers and closets too. We are also doing one large gift for each child this year. I still have to go shopping for stocking stuffers, which hopefully will get done tomorrow.

I had my mamo on Friday the 13th, which was obviously a bad idea. I have to go back this Friday. I hope these chest DOMS are gone before then, yikes.

Hi Ladies,

I was too wiped out after legs on Sunday to any cardio. I started doing Imax 3 but my knee was hurting just during the warm up. Stepping is just out of the question until my knee is dealt with and that won't happen until next year.

Yesterday I did BR challenge day 16 and tonight I did Disc 16 and abs! Tomorrow may or may not be a rest day. I have another early meeting tomorrow and I need to finish my Christmas shopping.

One of my coworkers just returned Insanity to me. The girls like Shaun T. and they can jump around to his w/o's! Insanity will be my cardio while they are here!

Tina-hope the mammo results are good. Woo Hoo for UB DOM's. Nice job finding another cardio you could do instead of kickboxing.

Hey girls, only a few short days until Christmas. My mammo was clear the second time, so I've already rec'd all I want for the holiday. I did M2D15 this morning, KPC with 1lb hand weights yesterday, and M2D14 and XT Legs, floor and barre on Wednesday. I'm feeling the winter weight creeping on quickly. I wish the weather would warm so we could get back out on the bikes. I passed a man (in my car) cranking on a beautiful road bike, with snow and slush on the ground. I had a brief moment of envy, very brief. C'mon spring!

Sue, are you back from you're trip? How was your rest week?

Diana, that's so cute you work out with your GDs. It must be adorable!

Hi ladies! I'm back from Chicago, it was nice & chilly, it snowed one day. Perfect contrast to the 60 degrees I came home to. while I was gone I did a Tony Horton 30 minute circuit workout. Wasn't supposed to be doing weights but my friend invited me to workout with her and I thought it would be good bonding time.

Today I started meso 2 with disk 13, chest shoulders and tris. I imagine I won't be having workout procrastination issues now that m1 is over!!!

Tina I'm so glad your mammo was clear!!!!! that's got to be a huge weight off :). I hear you with the winter weight. I'm flat out just eating too much, and too many sweets. I've stopped logging my food but will pick it back up,on the 1st.

Diana I hope your knee isn't giving you too much trouble. When do your granddaughters come & how long do they stay?

Hi Ladies,

I was short on time this morning so I threw in Insanity PCC. Those level 1 drills get me every time!

Today was our Holiday Pig Out at lunch. We all bring food and it's usually a lot of fun. This year a lot of folks were out, but we still had a good time.

My weight is up a tiny tad, but basically I just hope to maintain for the next 2 weeks and kick it back into weight loss gear in the new year! I've done pretty good but today went over a bit.

My girls arrive on the 22nd and go home on the 5th. They are looking forward to baking and decorating cookies! I'm at the point where I need to make a list so I don't forget anything!

Sue-glad you had a good time in Chicago. Yay for meso 2, no more pushups! The BodyRock challenge makes up for it though, pushups and burpees oh my! I've just been staying away from anything that hurts my knee, like stepping...and I really miss it.

Tina-that's great news on the mammo! I don't want to say I gain weight during STS, but it's certainly harder for me to lose weight when I do this rotation. I have the best definition ever in my arms when I do STS though. I think all that muscle holds so much water it impacts the scale. My girls love to workout...there mom works out so it's normal to them. Rylee loves doing the pushups in GS C&T, and Rallie Mae likes to do the dancy step workouts.

Candice-what do you have planned for Christmas? Do you live near your family?

Hi Ladies,

Guess everyone must be busy this week. It's not so hectic now that the holiday is behind me.

I've been off work with the girls this week. They are keeping me busy for sure. We took down the tree yesterday just to allow more room for the girls to play. I consider Christmas time a season and the tree usually goes up the day after Thanksgiving and comes down on New Years day.

My weight is up a bit which is to be expected, but I don't like it. I did manage to get to a weigh in yesterday but it's been about 3 or 4 weeks since I was able to get to a meeting. The holidays' fall on my weigh in day. I've also started tracking again since I fell off the wagon on that.

I had 3 unplanned rest days, just too busy getting things ready for Christmas. The girls love Cathe though and yesterday was Disc 18, and DWP. The girls had a blast doing DWP with me!! Bodyrock is starting a new 30 day challenge on January 15th, I'm looking forward to doing that too!

Good morning, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I'm a disc behind on STS. DH has taken a few days off, so we did MM together yesterday and a spin on Thursday. I'm hoping to catch up on STS tomorrow.

Holiday eating was horrible, I can't wait to get back to the normal routine next week. I'm going to down load the new Cameron Diaz book called The Body Book. It may be rubbish, but it sounds interesting. Anything to get me motivated to eat clean again.

Diana, are the girls' still with you? How did they like their gifts? They must have been thrilled!

Hi Ladies,

How is everyone doing? Anyone get anything good? My DH and I just exchange stockings. We buy what we want throughout the year and tend to spend our Christmas funds on the kids.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with my side of the family and spent Christmas day with DH's family. It was awesome!

The girls are still here, they go home on the 5th. We are having a birthday party for them on the 4th. Their birthday is the 14th but since they will be gone, we usually have a party for them when they are here. Of course they have another one at their house too!

I'm getting back on track with WW and am feeling good about that. I'm considering journaling this year, although I've never done this in the past...because I don't want anyone reading it! I may give it a try and see how it goes.

I'm looking forward to the next 30 day BR challenge which starts later this month. I'm also trying to decide if I want to take the next class at the rec ctr. aptly named Spring Fitness Challenge. I wasn't impressed with the last Holiday Meltdown class...too much band/tubing work and not enough cardio/weights for my liking.

I have 4 more discs to go before I'm done with Meso 2!
