Good morning ladies...

Feeling the DOMS and looking forward to recovery next week...Today is CTX kickbox cardio and the quick fix cardio. I think I will hop on my elliptical in place of that quick fix cardio..

Ok, time to get things started in our little schoolroom with breakfast!

Not much time and I have no idea what cardio I'm doing today! :eek:

Greg is home now until the Monday after Christmas. Sounds so nice, but I'm so used to doing things myself/my way and the morning did not go smoothly..

Good morning cardio gals! I hope you find something fun to do, Chris. I know what you mean about having hubby home when he's not usually and it just kind of interrupts flow. Larry got up while I was doing my workout this morning and I had to stop and help him empty the ash can! Hmmmph! :) My workout was back and triceps -- man I hate that combo!! It just went on and on and on. Glad it's done. I'm going to be sore sore sore, because I already am sore from the other day, my legs are sore from kickmax yesterday, and those instant onset muscle sorenesses are already here!!

Travis didn't want to go to basketball, I think!, because he doesn't like playing with those rough boys. But, he was also riled from a girl who really bugs him, so that played into it as well. Yesterday he told me this girl's mother is 20. Hmmm, a 10 year old with a 20 year old mother? I don't think so, but I do know she is a very young mom. I'd guess 25-28 -- somewhere in there. Amazing the age range of the 5th grade parents!

Crazy morning so far -- Larry and I had to tear apart the desk and kitchen in desperate searching for a mac boot up disc. No luck and now everything's more of a mess than it usually is!!!

I'm getting that last minute "I don't have nearly enough presents purchased" stress setting in. :eek:

hey still rolling around in bed. My right upper thigh was getting to me last night. Its better but still funny. Hope I can Plyo Legs. I'm going in late because I'm staying late since Joe has an office party in downtown. I ended up buying the girls a telescope...so now I just have to figure out my sister and parents before today ends and one more friend this weekend locally. Joe got a present last night -- Forza from the powerstrike woman. He wants a bokken so he can try it out. Don't think I can get it by next week though...

erm...still in bed...yawn...
 
where are all of you? did plyo legs...I skipped only one exercise because of my thigh. In some ways, it was really good doing a leg workout but other things really twinged it. I'm wondering what the hell is going on -- another nerve issue or if it'll just heal. I walked evee as well. my time at home is soon going to end and I'll go into work. Going to pop in the shower eat some lunch and head out...ttyl.
 
Hottie, I would have told you to skip the plyo! Hope you're ok!

Just been busy...... today's my last full day sans kids since tomorrow is a minimum day for them. Lots of work to get done and I hope to also wrap their presents! :)
 
Hey Girls...

Got the Walmart thing done, which also was a Liquor Store thing, and then a grocery store thing! It is SOOOOO cold out today. High is like 20, and then there's this ICEY breeze, making it feel like it's negative numbers. :eek: And my 14 yr old wants to deliver his papers in his wimpy sweat shirt. (and I get the teen attitude, "Get over it mom". ). I can't even talk to him! :mad:

After much (internal) debate with myself , I ended up doing KCM's Cardio (I almost typed CARDIAC!) Blast: Athletic Step. Weird thing is, that it got my heart rate UP there, and I found it challenging in spots, where I remembeI r the first time, i thought it was kind of wimp-ish. Maybe because it was the first time and I didn't put my all into it? It's weird how different cardios can be different for me depending on who-knows-what.

I wanted to do a short abs, so I randomly picked MIS Abs, which was ALL about crunches! OW!

My Sunday sitter just left. The pregnant one, remember? She's 30 weeks pregnant now. Remember how she was dating someone for like 2 months and ended up pregnant?(she had physical issues and was told she'd never have kids. So she was happy about it). She had told me then , this guy was her "soul mate". She just got done telling me what the last few months have been like. I think she was afraid to tell me when it was happening. She is not with the guy anymore. He had 'anger' issues. he never beat her, but came close to it, and she left. Actually took a restraining order out on him. She's now renting a room from her boss (she's a hairdresser). She has no support, really. Her mother is a recovering/relapsing drug addict. Her grandparents have their hands full with her, and offer little support to Ally. Anyways, i feel bad for her. She's really a very sweet, well intentioned girl. And she'always been good to the boys and very responsible with watching them on Sundays.

Kathy: Hope you had a good cardio!!! I did the quick fix once, and didn't like it so much. It was boring!

Beth: Oh! Did I know you did KM yesterday?? You did the leg drills too? You nut! Back & triceps is a very weird combo!!! The DOMS of STS is really setting in, huh? And just when you're body gets used to it, you start meso 2! HA!... Ah. I understand about the b-ball now. Your kids are off for holiday recess starting tomorrow? Holy cow! Mine go right up until the 23rd!

Hottie: HOpe your thigh is ok!! I hate injuries. And then never knowing if it IS an injury or not! Say "hi" to the mouse for me... NOT! LOL!... Good job on Plyo legs! You are just about all caught up now?

Boys are home, Got laundry to do, and then an early supper, Zach has a band concert tonight...

I so wanted to wrap today, AND i need to get a validation packet done for work, it was due in NOVEMBER!!! Never enough time!!
 
Chris, I think you knew I did KM yesterday -- I did the cardio leg blast, I think it's called, so it was warm up, blasts, and the leg drills. My backside is sore!

I saw people complaining about KCM's being not intense enough, and I think it must have to do with how much you put into it. I know she sort of has longer pauses than it feels like Cathe would do, but I think it's a pretty good workout there. Good for you!!

That's really sad about your sitter -- they (she & the baby) have a tough road ahead of them, I think. Wish I could give her some business! It's hard to find good babysitters.....

I've got to get dinner going, or push Larry into getting dinner going.....
