Good morning ladies...

Starting the day off with slightly better DOMS...I ended up with some DOMS in the lats too. I think from lifting the heavy weights for the legs. Anyway, feeling better. Today is Disc 33 shoulders, biceps & triceps...

No much else going on today. Lauren is going to her first sleepover tonight..She is so excited about that. She has had lots of girls over here. Now she is going to someone else's house. Should be exciting! She has stayed at family's house just not friends..

Anyway, time to get our day going...
 
Good Morning Kathy! Everyone to follow!

Well, not so good here. I got up at 3:30am and felt one of my headaches starting. I took one Excedrin Migraine right away. The headache didn't get worse, like it usually does, kind of staying the same. I took another Excedrin after breakfast. Still the same. I have a lot to do today. :(

Anyhow, going to go get started on DISC 27, ... I'm 2 weeks behind you, Kathy, but also doing Shoulders Biceps & Triceps today.

Your daughter must be so excited for the sleepover! I bet you'll find you really miss her. it's strange how just being away for one night seems so different when they're gone...

Good morning and happy Friday! We have an internet this morning. Yes, we need a chainsaw or something! Larry's ready to buy a T1 line.

Chris, so sorry about your headache! I hope you caught it early enough and it doesn't get worse. Hopefully it'll get better! Workouts sometimes help, right?

I was so tired this morning but finally dragged myself out of bed and did the blasts from low max. You guys may rememeber that I have a high dread factor for low max, but on the recent thread about leaning out legs someone mentioned that premix, and I thought it might be a good way to get in some cardio, work the legs another day, and make use of low max all at the same time -- it worked! :D It took a few blasts to actually get my heart rate up there, but it was a good workout. I should have added on some ab work but ran out of time.

Kathy -- fun on the sleepover -- it does seem to be more fun for them to go to someone else's house -- at least my boys are always really excited for that.

I have to go help with 5th grade math right in the middle of the day, but unfortunately I also really should go to work and make tax payments I just found out about. Sure wish they had given that to me a day sooner! Arrrg! I don't know quite how I'm going to do this.....

Made it through .... though I felt so shitty. My head is all dizzy from the excedrin plus the headache is kind of there too (but not intense).

I was a bit conservative on my weight choices though. But I did the entire thing.

Now off to the post office (sucks!) and grocery shopping (double suck!).

Beth: Oh! That lowmax premix sounds good, how long was it? Maybe that's a good one (if it's short enough) for tomorrow. ... At least I don't have to go to Jake's class today to help. She couldn't do it this week. But I feel for you! It's nice to do it, and I know the kids love it, and I USUALLY kind of have fun with the kids, but it's hard to fit in sometimes..

Chris, sorry the workout didn't help, but isn't it great to know you got it done at least? That's how I felt yesterday (even if I didn't really get it "done, done!" -- my triceps are sore today).

That premix was great -- it doesn't have a warm up or stretch, so I added those on and it all took me about 40 minutes -- the time for the premix is listed as 23 minutes. Try it! I'm hoping that if I stick with that premix for a while, I'll be able to do all of low max without dread someday! :)

Got the tax payment made.... back to school now!
 
hey guys...I'll try to write in between my wait periods. I tried to come back with a vengeance today... I have some serious STS catch up to do. 4DS BC + Chest and Back for Week Three. nice workout...really nice. I hadn't done BC in a long time so I forgot how the drills were. I needed breaks in between but I'm recovering so I'm not too mad. I still hate the incline chest work...but I can't believe how strong my back and hands have gotten. I'm doing 70lbs on my barbell rows and 65 on my deadlifts! For me, that's awesome!

I'm trying to be ambitious today with work...I'm freaking out because I lost a ton of time. next week is going to s-u-c-k! I'm sorry everyone else is feeling under the weather as well! Oh Kathy -- i'll catch up by recovery week!

And wohoo on Beth and me going to SD if you guys didn't know that already! :)
 
Hanging in there. I got CRAP done today, except went shopping, bought some junk to eat so I could feel "better" for the hour it took me to gnosh on it. My head still hurts. And now my stomach is all full and icky too!

Hottie: Glad you're feeling better! BC is a kicker for 30 minutes, it always gets me winded! You are lifting heavY!!! That's awesome!! And I heard from a little birdie you and Beth were going to SD!!! That's SO exciting! I want pictures AND video!!!!

Beth: Thanks for the info on Low Max premix. I may try it tomorrow if I feel better. Glad you got your tax stuff done! How are you feeling anyways? I know you said you and one of your sons were feeling queasy the other day? And sore throats? ... Speaking of the icky sickies...

I wish Alex had the ability to empathize with my headache. I promised him I'd screach and yell and make gun noises in HIS head next time he had a headache. He still doesn't get it. :(
 
Am I too late for anyone to see? Hottie, awesome workout, but don't do too much too soon! And way to go on the weights -- wow!

Chris, I was definitely having a horrible sore throat and feeling like I was getting what the kid has, but.... I've been popping vitamins and zicams and whatnot and knock wood, I feel like I may be beating it before it gets too bad. We'll see!

I'm feeling pretty good doms all over today -- even my legs, which I'm thinking must be from low max that I did this morning because I wasn't feeling it earlier. I think I do need to use more than body weight on legs....

It's going to be a stormy day here tomorrow, I hear... lots of rain, hail even.... wouldn't be surprised if we lose power. We are supposed to see the school play tomorrow -- Hee Haw Hayride. Sounds cute and we know lots of kids in it, so it should be fun. Nighty-night..... (I'm exhausted, but it's only 7:00!).
