Deanines Rotation Check In TGIF!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!

Today was Imax 3. This is my favorite Imax! I always have fun and boy is it hard!! I forgot what the intervals were and remembered half way through the cardio section of #5 what the blast was, and was NOT happy!!:) I always feel if I can get through that, I can do the rest, no problem. Today though, after blast 7, I wasn't sure! I had a really hard time, but I finished. For me blast 9 is harder than blast 10, and I think if blast 10 were hard, I wouldn't have finished. After Imax 3, I did B&G abs (with the ankle weights). I wasn't sure if I was going to do abs today or tomorrow, but I had extra time, so I did them today.}(

Tomorrow is S&H legs and shoulders, but I am thinking of doing CTX leaner legs in place of S&H legs. My legs got a good workout today, and I'm not sure how I'll feel tomorrow. Also, I have 50# on my barbell and its hard to put on my shoulders. So we'll see when I wake up.

Good morning!

I did not make it up this morning so today has become a rest day for me. I really needed it though so I'm trying not to feel guilty about it. I had a rough night with my daughter (age 2) and I didn't get much sleep. I'm thinking I'll just skip the cardio day and continue with tomorrow's plan of Legs and Shoulders.

I am feeling DOMS in my upper back and down my sides and into my butt. I guess that yoga really does make you work, huh?! I'm glad to be feeling it down my sides because that is one area that can always use extra toning on me.

Congrats Deanie on the loose jeans. Gotta love that feeling!!

Hi girls,

Today was Core Max 1 and Stretch Max 1 for me. I was able to get through Core Max with no problem for the most part. I was able to do the levitation holds. YIPPEE!!! I just had a little problem with the planks at the end. Just ran out of steam. I love Stretch Max 1. It's my favorite stretch max, although the one on the ball is pretty good too. The band one I'm not so crazy about. If I could, I'd love to do a stretch workout every day. I feel like I have DOMS in every party of my body today. My pecs are especially sore from yesterday's GS C&T. I went dancing last night.

Deanie - Congrats on the loose jeans. That is such a great feeling. I think I feel better now that I'm not doing so much weighted leg work. I was so sick of squats, lunges and leg presses. I'm going to take my measurements at the end of the month to see my progress. I'm back to my pre-vacation weight. The food was real good on vacation but it's so much work to take the weight off.

Tracee - Don't feel guilty about the rest day. You'll have a better workout tomorrow. I'm glad you like the yoga tape.

Tracee- Don't feel bad about the rest day. Its always a good idea to listen to your body.

Marcy-Core Max 1 and tough abs are my favorite workouts on that dvd. Its funny, my favorite stretch is with the band. I really feel that the most. I know what you mean about weighted leg work (see above):)

Deanie - I've never done the Core Max premixes. How are the other two? Does tough abs use weight? As far as IMAX 3, interval 5 is my favorite. Interval 4 is a tough one for me, so the easy step is a nice relief in 5 and I love plie jumps. 1, 4 and 7 are the toughest for me in IMAX 3.

I'm going to try and do Boot Camp this weekend and then start on my new rotation or maybe I'll just finish out next week just doing anything I want for a few days and see what Cathe comes up with for February. I really like Debbie's rotation but I'm thinking my body needs a change from heavy lifting and I really want to use my new Jaris.

Marcy- the other 2 premixes are okay. I did each once and never really did them again. Tough abs is great though, it is a mix of all the sections compiled together. Its funny, your toughest intervals in Imax 3 are my favorites. My toughest are 5,6,and 9!! If you want to wait 4 weeks, I'll do Debbies rotation with you. Thats when I'm going to start in. (i have one more week of S&H, 2 of muscle endurance and one recovery)

Another month for Debbie's rotation sounds good to me. I think I'll be ready again for heavy lifting by then. I've heard a lot of people say that after doing Jari, they're able to lift heavier with Cathe. I hope that works for me.
