Just read your post in Ask Cathe and thought I'd answer you here. IMHO it is fine to eat PB everyday (we're talking natural). It's a great source of protein, good fat, and a couple of TBS won't hurt you. Besides, it is SOOOOO good!! I, too, eat it just about daily. Maybe some of you who are experts at clean eating could respond, because an expert on that I am not!

As long as it's just ground peanuts with maybe a touch of salt, it's fine. You shouldn't exceed about 2 tbsp though.

Just make sure that it's REALLY "natural peanut butter" (only peanuts and salt) and not that "fake natural" PB that Skippy or Jif now has out that also contains sweetener and palm oil.

I'd say about 2 TBsp a day is a fine amount to have.

You might also want to explore other nut butters, like almond and cashew, to have a variety of nutrients.

Anyone try brazil or macadamia nut butter....love them! I eat nut butters all the time. I think they are very good for you, as long as you don't overdo it!
