Spring Peepers! We have a pond in our back yard, and the folks across the street have 3! I LOVE this time of year because the sound is so loud and so - well - spring! It's a sound I wait for all year long. What's your favorite Spring indicator?

We had a BIG thunderstorm and downpour last night and now the sun is shining, the mountain air smells so fresh, the birds are chirping....aaahhhhhh....We've already spent the morning outside enjoying it all.

I always look for the first red-winged blackbird of the year. Then all the other birds that rapidly appear. We've seen kildeer, cowbirds, grackles, and bluebirds. The house swallows arrived last week and I'm planning on putting the hummingbird feeder out in another 2 weeks.

I love my hummingbirds and will be putting the feeder out soon. And just loves the over 20 species we see daily here. Is soooo ready to have continuous spring.

Loves it in early spring when does come out to graze in yard and bring the brand new spotted fawns. We get such a kick out of watching the fawns nurse while moms nibble on leaves and grass.

Spring fever has arrived, I'll never get anything done around here.
