Good Morning,

Just getting us started!

I was the last to check in last night so not a whole lot to say. Not sure when I will fit my workout in today b/c I have to be at work shortly. I was thinking about taking my running things to work and running from there....could be a plan :)

Good Morning Ladies,

I had a wonderful weekend! Yesterday I did B&G and 4DS KB. I expected my legs and butt to be screaming today but they aren't. I used 10# for the walking lunges and 67# bb and 6# ankle weights. Then DH made me an omelette with leftover ribeye, mushrooms, spinach and tomoto. It was delicious! Then I was off to get a pedicure with salt scrub, cucumber mask and hot rock massage. Lastly, we took MIL out to dinner and I had salmon and a baked sweet potato!

DS2 put a larger memory card in my phone, and transferred all my cathe downloads and itunes to my phone for me. He also showed me some cool stuff I didn't know about my phone. You can basically sync it with itunes, save all your contacts, pretty much save everything from your phone to your pc. DS3 and I will be going to see Fast Five. The reviews are saying it's the best of the series.

Still trying to figure out what to do this morning. Some kind of cardio..will pick something out shortly. Actually, reading about Lori's running plan makes me think I should run this morning. It is supposed to be 81 today.

Wendy-I'm sorry you had such a hectic/rushed weekend. We try to schedule our Mother's Day celebrations for our mom's on Saturday so I can still enjoy my Mother's Day.

Lori-thanks for getting us started today? How was your Mother's Day? Running at work sounds like a plan.

LauraT-how did you spend your weekend? DH turned on our sprinkler system on last night, all three zones in the front fine, but two of three zones in the backyard didn't come on. We do need to replace a few sprinkler heads though. DH thinks there could be a broken pipe....wonder how find it?

LauraR-what adventures are you and your family up to this week?

I did Rythmic Step and planks this morning. Great sweaty work out. :D

I am sore from neck to waist from y'day's torture too. :eek:

Diana:: Great work out. Glad you had such a great Mother's Day. DH would have cooked dinner last night if we were home. Anything I wanted too! Gotta give him credit for the thought atleast! :) Ofcourse on the other hand he had to notice me cleaning and doing laundry etc and certainly knew I was going food shopping and never once offered to help with ANY of it! :mad:

Lori:: Why don't you run to and from work every day? Bring baby wipes for a "shower" incase you get sweaty and then you won't have to worry about when to squeeze your runs in! ;)

MONDAY

Hey ..

I had a good weekend! I got up exercised SAT - cleaned up - then we went fishing near the GA/AL dam - set bush hooks - grilled out on a sandbar - it was great!! Didnt catch them like we wanted but it was a fun time - ended up getting home around 3 in the morning :confused: I am too old for that crap!! LOL - so yesterday I WAS A TOTAL BUM! I went to DM and had a nice visit - DB, SIL, and DN were there they had caught a BUNCH of catfish - so we watched DB clean them :p then my aunt and I rode the golf cart and took my big babies for a ride. It was nice!! ONly thing my Big Baby Buster is not feeling well - he got sick - and has had this cough/gagging thing going on - well now the cough is more persistant and shorter faster - I am worried about him - DH taking him to the vet this afternoon - pray my baby is ok!!

DI - sounds like you had an awesome MD celebration!! ya the flooding is horrible - the South has been BATTERED here lately!!! Mother Nature must be PMSing!!!

Lori - sounds like you were working most of the weekend - but see getting those runs in no matter what!

Wendy - your MD sounds hectic - well at least DH offered to cook although coming home to a nice clean house would have been a VERY NICE surprise :)

LauraR - glad you are having a good vaca - Disney world huh? Imagine YOU ARE getting your workouts in ....LOL .... believe it or not I have never been to Disney World - but everyone I know has .. and they usually are busy busy and worn out by the time they get home .. LOL .. ENJOY!!

OK . . so today I am planning on another mish mosh circuit class - last week's was AWESOME!!! gotta jet .. have a great one!;)
 
LauraT:: Hope your pup feels better soon. Taking our dog to the vet tmrw night for a check up and a shot. He has another shot due in June so she asked if I wanted to wait but I can't. He needs this distemper shot that expired last month in order to be boarded when we go to the casinos over Memorial Day weekend. I hope the one in June can wait until whatever comes after it! :rolleyes: Sounds like you had a blast this weekend! Good for you! :D
 
I was just at Amazon ordering a birthday gift for my mom so I picked up Sywia's Cardio Mat work out and a set of lifting hooks which I am now noticing quite the need for with STS when doing back and leg work!:eek:
I just got some B'day money from DH's family so I don't feel bad about it at all plus DH owes me a gift as well anyway so either way I am covered and guiltless! :p;):D
 
Hi Girls,

Thought I would check in while I was waiting to go to work...AGAIN. I am hoping that this will be the last time I have to go in before I am off tomorrow.

I managed to get a small workout in when I got home from work. I did 4 miles on the TM and 16 mins on the bike, giving me 50 mins of cardio and I also did abs.

Diana** Sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday! I didn't ask for anything...b/c I don't need anything! LOL Its funny b/c I was telling one of my clients the other day that I use my ankle weights on my hands for KB'ing but there must be a hole in them somewhere, cause by the time I am done I need to sweep the floor:confused: She thought it was a good idea to ask for new ankles weights for my b-day...IN AUG! As if! LOL I don't think they have a whole lot of money and they wait for occasions to buy presents...which is the way it should be. But most people buy what they want, when they want now and unless it is an expensive item...Im guilty!

Wendy** Running to and from work is a terrible idea missy! LOL Can you imagine going to work everyday all sweaty! Maybe if I didn't have any sweat glands it would work but then I would still have the issue of picking DS up and dropping him off. I guess you would suggest a stroller in that case!:p;)

Laura** Hope your baby feels better!!! I punched 6 days straight but now its over. So while you losers are going to work for the next....oh...I don't know 13 days...i will be sitting pretty:) I do have to work next Sun but that's it!:) I will probably be ready to go back to work by then. If I was smart I would start cleaning or something. But Im not smart. Sounds like you had a nice weekend with DH!!!

O.k...i will bb in the a.m. Time to get dressed and get my arse to work!

So I met with my Boss and HR today. It wasn't nearly as dreadful as I anticipated. Not sure if anything will come of it or not. I'm guessing NOT. At least I was able to voice my issue.

Wendy-Nice Score!! I use my lifting hooks a lot during STS. I'll have to check out Sylwia's cardio mat w/o. I have to say I love her personality!

Lori-Sometimes I wish I had your work schedule...other times...not so much! 6 days off in a row would seem like vacation to me. Do you ever make a to-do list when you have time off like that? You are also very flexible with your w/o schedule, whether it be first thing in the morning, or later in the day, wish I was better about that. I would definitely pick up some ankle or wrist weights...something cheap and that you use on a regular basis.

LauraT-I sure hope Buster is doing okay. What did the vet have to say?

D20/Legs is done! I have 3 more STS work outs (x2) to do and then I am DONE with Meso 2! WOOT WOOT! :D:D:D

Scale is back down to Friday's weigh in weight as of this morning. This makes me happy. Now I can start working on a loss for this week! :)

Lori:: Sorry you had to go back to work last night but I hope you are now home for good for a few days! So you didn't like my baby wipes shower idea after running to work huh? :p As for your son, YES, a stroller is the obvious answer...unless ofcourse you would like to begin prepping him to be your running partner! :D

Diana:: Well I am glad the meeting wasn't as bad as you expected. Let us know the outcome. I was doing my leg work out this morning just dreaming of the day the lifting hooks arrive! Next week's leg work out should be soooo much nicer. IDK why I didn't buy them sooner! :rolleyes: I bought Sylvia's cardio mat b/c I plan to do a real endurance based rotation after STS for a few weeks. I wanted the w/o anyway and this rotation will justify it! :p

I woke up at 7:30, even though I didn't go to bed until 1:30:confused:. I am sure I will do enough today to keep me awake. I think I am going to start off with stupid house work;) And I will probably get some kind of workout in early this morning and then run this afternoon is the plan.

Diana** I will keep my fingers crossed that that meeting got you somewhere. At least they know. I think the guys I work with want another raise but that's not going to happen. They are already the highest paid refuelers on the field. I think they think just b/c they work for a bigger company and the owners are millionaires (if not more) that they should get a raise every 6 months. People don't get raises every 6 months....As soon as we get busy they start talking about money. Its very weird. We just got a raise about 6 months ago and it was a decent one. Mine was $1.50 and I think the guys got a $1.

Wendy** Nice workout. Still trying to wrap my head around a rotation. Maybe I should just start doing STS again but not in its rotation form. I purposely didn't do any weights yesterday just so I could do whatever I wanted today.

Ok....I don't think I have anything else to say. Im sure I could ramble on and on for hours....but I will save you all! I think my little boy is awake!

Lori:: Why won't you try doing STS as produced? Yes you are right-a raise every 6 months is not how it works. Some will give a small raise after your initial 6 months of employment and then again at 1 year but after that it's always been annual at any place that I've ever worked. Those guys you work with are crazy! :rolleyes: Good luck figuring out your work out for today. I hate when I don't know what I'm in the mood for and I have no plan. :confused: You need a plan! ;)

WONDERFUL class last night - circuit w/plyo step and trpl set LB and UB :eek: DOMS report: tris, bis, back and a bit into my core .. been a while since I have had DOMS!!!! :D feels good :p

re: Buster: they are running bloodwork - the vet THINKS it is allergies (sinusitis/rinositis) possible kennel cough - and I hope he is right - we started him on antibiotics - and will wait to see what the blood work shows - he didnt feel a tumor .. and he said his lungs were clear ..:D .. so that was wonderful!! Now we will hope meds work and bloodwork is clear!! Thnx girlies - my baby boy is my BABY ... and he is getting old!!! :(

Lori - 13 days off :eek: WOW :rolleyes: yes we ARE jealous!!! you just go girl!! Now I am SURPRISED you didnt ask for some more lulu for MD!!! :p

Di - glad the meeting went good - maybe something good will come of it - but it does help to know someone is listening to your concerns!!

Wendy - another Swylvia workout?? dont make me look .. I dont have the time ... wwaaaaahhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy :confused: but you know I am gonna HAVE to chk it out!! LOLOLOL :p

OK - so tonight is KB/weighted plyo/matt work class!!! bring it on!!!! had a girl "watching my class" she does ZUMBA - well last night we started off warm up on step w/funky music .. heard her say oh this is just like zumba :eek: :mad: she left b-4 the BASIC warm up was over - I thought great she thinks it is just up up down down - mamba turn crap - well she came back and saw a bit of the MEAT of the program - got to see full body pushups - then squat thrust burpees on step - she left after that :confused: :p wondering what she was thinking then "NOT like Zumba" :p:p:p OK .. better run .. have a great one! ;)
 
LauraT:: Hoping Buster just has allergies! :) Yay for DOMS! My upper body DOMS is still lingering today and I fully expect the butt/legs to be yellin' at me tmrw! ;) Sorry re the mention of the Sylwia work out but you know I can't make any fitness purchases without reporting them to my Cathlete crew, right? :D

Lori:: I missed where you mentioned having 13 days off straight from work now. WTH!? :eek: Not fair! :p
 
Just got back from a 15 km run. The temps are still weird. Depending on which direction I run in, I could be warm or cold. I decided to wear a long sleeve shirt and shorts and I am glad I did b/c on the way home I was in the wind.

Laura** That's awesome news about your dog. Let us know what happens. Well...as for the MD lulu...I didn't bother telling you guys about my last order b/c I was afraid a intervention was going to be called. So lets just say that no one in this house needs to buy me anything;)

Wendy** I have to work Sunday and that's it for the next 13 days!:D I don't know why I don't wanna do STS as it....guess I am just being hard to get along with! LOL

So I did Disc 13 earlier and I just finished my run. I feel worked.

Lori:: So with 13 days off, how many training sessions do you think you'll be able to squeeze in? You'll probably make more darned $$$ then if you had worked your regular job! :eek: You are just looney for LuLu! LOL Since you aren't doing an STS rotation but doing some of the work outs the disc choices seem very random to me. Are they or is there a method to your madness? ;)
 
Hi Ladies,

I had a hectic day. This morning I did 4ds bootcamp cardio and went for a walk this afternoon. Tomorrow will be STS TB. Am I the only one that thinks tricep work is weak in this w/o? 2 sets of dips is it. Love GS tricep work though.

The meeting yesterday wasn't terrible, but I'm sure I have a black mark by my name now and will never get promoted. My not getting a promotion really doesn't have anything to do with my boss, it's the VP of my department. I pretty much cleaned out my desk of any personal stuff and plan on saving any personal content on my pc to a thumb drive. The VP has hired about 8 of his friends that now work in the department. The gal that was promoted above me, although she is new to the IT field, she started out as his admin and now she's above someone with 10yrs experience and she is the golden one. She actually had 2 promotions in 3 years which is very uncommon. She gets all the prime assignments. I don't think there is any advancement opportunity for me so I'm beginning to look elswhere. It is very disappointing after being there for 21yrs.

LauraT-OMG....too funny about the zumba girl!!! I am so missing my bootcamp classes. Glad Buster only has allergies, hoping his blood work comes back good! It's scary when our pups get old.

Lori-wow, 13 days off...I was already jealous of 6 days off. I caught that....more lulu....better start practicing....Hi, My name is Lori....and I'm a lulu addict!:p Nice run girl!!!

Wendy-honestly, I can't see Lori following a rotation. She's a mix and matcher through and through.

Good Morning:)

I have a busier morning then I normally like. The thing is...when I finally get a day off, that's when my friends want to have coffee:confused: And I still need to get groceries. I have training at 9:45 today, friend coming for a coffee after that, and after I drop DS off to preschool I hope to get a workout in. I wouldn't mind running outside again b/c I am playing cards with the girls tonight and that usually means lots of food!

Wendy** There really is no method to my madness. I am thinking about sticking with the 2nd box set, while throwing in other workouts during the week. Of course this idea is great now b/c I am off for such a long time. Doing it when I go back to work will be tougher. Training as slowed down a little b/c people are on holidays and the ones who are back aren't into the full swing of things yet. Right now I still have about 5 on the go. One guy isn't coming back, which is fine with me b/c that free's up my mon and wed evenings. And I am not taking anyone else on until I am finished my course. Its just to much.

Diana** I feel for you and I can totally see where you are coming from......Try not to take it personal. I think this idiot just wants to have all his friends around him:confused: Maybe he will get canned:D You should set him up! LOL

O.k...I may go ahead and do disc 14 shortly before my client arrives. Then I only have to run in the afternoon.

Good Morning.

This morning's work out was S90: Tabata Inferno. Hadn't done that one in a while and thought it was about time to get back to it. ;)

So after being afraid of it, I finally swallowed my pride and used my omron body fat monitor this morning. I had taken my bf% shortly before starting WW and although you wouldn't have thought so by looking at me-the # staring back at me was big enough to make me want to throw up. :eek: I was pleasantly surprised to find that the # dropped by about 1% since I've been on WW so I am happy about that. The scale also showed another decrease this morning! :)

Diana:: Someone really needs to complain about that VP...get him sh*t-canned! Find a new job and on your last day (do they do exit interviews there? If they do, do this then!) make sure that everyone knows that you know about this VP and his "buddies" and the bs promotions he gives them while passing over people who actually DESERVE it! That would INFURIATE me! :mad: That guy is scum! (sorry for being so blunt but he really is!!!!) You are correct-STS TB is short on tri work but Cathe says that the tris are used so much as secondary/support muscles through the rest of the work out that she didn't feel it necessary to work them as hard separately. I love that work out and was just thinking that I need to make time for it post STS! :)

Lori:: I wish I had time for coffee with my friends! When I had the time I had no friends that could do it! Now I don't have the time either. BOOH. Consider yourself very lucky. :) So the girls get together for poker games? How cool! Can I come? :D

Hey ladies!

Last night class was great - did mish mosh circuits of kb, weights, plyo, weighted plyo, plank work, and core was awesome!!! Had a new student - she just stood there most of the class looking like WTH??? and couldnt do planks - couldnt do jumps - couldnt do pushups - barely do squats and lunges :confused: I dont think she will be back :confused: but class ROCKED!!! DOMS: core and a bit into shoulders - bis and tris still sore from MON! :eek:

Di - BOOOOOOO on the deadbeat VP - that is horrible!!!!! I know that feeling of defeat you are feeling and it is not a good place - and the feeling like now you have black dot on forehead - yes I KNOW that feeling too - I too have been thru cleaning out anything personal etc - terrible feeling!! sorry you are having to go thru this - something tells me those FRIENDS the VP have hired and promoting - will not be as loyal to him or serve him as he thinks!!! ;) sometimes the workhorses of the group get overlooked b/c they are TOO DA**ED BUSY DOING THE WORK to get noticed ..TYPICAL!!! I made it thru my tuff spot and so will you - just do your work - keep your head up and eyes and ears open and you will come out ok!!!

Lori - dont make us feel sorry for your busy schedule :confused: you are NOT at work like us!!! :p have a good run and fun w/the cards tonight - I have a GGT tonight too - another birthday and a celebration of a friends divorce FINAL!!!!!:eek: :p

Wendy - NO WAY you had bad fat % - crazy girl!! glad WW is doing good for you tho!! Keep up the good work - I have not caved on Sylvwia yet!! ;)

OK - so like I told Lori - have a GGT tonight a bday and divorce celebration - yes CABS will be flowing - but I am gonna try to be decent and not over do on CABS or the food :( dang it :mad: :p It it like SUMMER x10 out today - gonna break record highs - humid stuffy and HOT - but i am gonna try to go to gym and work heavy legs if it is not like oven in there!! have a great one!;)
 
LauraT:: Scared away yet another new student, ey Laura? You are evil!!! :p:D;) LOL My BF% was/is about 4-5% higher then it was post P90X and on a shortie like me that's A LOT! So is the 6# I'm in the process of losing! :eek: The 4# I've lost at this point has made a huge difference! It's crazy! My work pants are falling off me over 4#! Who would have thought!? :confused: But I'm not complaining!;)
