WED - HUMP DAY .. WOOT WOOT COME ON WEEKEND!

Morning Ladies -

LOL - Di and Wendy - :p you two are cracking me up!!! :p LOL DI - shame on you Wendy leaving Di in the trenches w/the 600 rep workout:p!!! and DI .. MAN what a time on that workout .. I AM IMPRESSED!!!! :eek: Last night's class was like last Monday's class - circuit based - step cardio - a 600 rep segment - shaping segment - plyo step segment - :eek: it was AWESOME!

Lori - sorry for the ups and downs - no advice since I havent been there and done that :confused: but I can offer a hardy - HANG IN THERE KIDDO!!!!! :eek: :rolleyes: :D

Wendy - that workout looks great - so you actually did 500 mountain climbers at one time?? without stopping??? :confused: I bow to you oh Mountain Climber Queen!!!!!

Di - so Wendy abandoned you and the 600 rep challenge???? LOL .. it was fun tho huh??? great workout - and I am thoroughly impressed with your time!! you did the entire thing????? YIKES~!!

OK .. soooooooo tonight I am doing some new stuff - gonna be a different mish mosh of sorts - interval mixed w/shaping :confused: hope I make it thru!!! ESPECIALLY seeing as how I GOT UP AGAIN THIS MORNING and nocked out STS meso 2 LEGS - yes that is right - and BTW legs are a LOT harder in the a.m. .. and require a LOT more energy than the UB ... yikes!!! I am STARVING now!!!! Hope the tired legs hold up for class tonight!!!

I know Diana! :( I wanted to do it but I just didn't see it happening w/o messing up my weekend agenda plus it would have been incredibly painful I think! :eek: It's on next week's agenda once my legs recover from the STS work out this weekend though! If I don't stupidly follow M3 legs up with a BR w/o again and just stick with my "safe" kickboxing, I should be fine to get it done next week!!!! I got someone over in my STS check in to do the work out this morning too. Everyone did it but me! :rolleyes::eek:

Laura:: Um, no...NOT w/o stopping. I am not that good! LOL I did em in 5 minutes but I took short rests often. No way I could have done them with no breaks! You go girl with your AM work outs!!!! It really can be sooooo worth it!!!! LOL re leaving Di in the trenches. It's not like I planned for this to happen! :p

I feel like I am gettig a freaking MIGRAINE :( :mad: I got PI$$ED at PIA this morning - and PMS week - AND STARVING - think I went too long w/o a big food - will have to readjust my eating if I do legs in AM especially the week of TOM .. :( .. gosh hope it goes away - I took 2 ES excedrin migrain b-4 lunch - and just popped 2 more - ugh .. I hate having a BAD headache .. UGH
 
Good Morning.

So I did STS D27 (S-B-T) this morning. I was torn. I wanted to do the 600 rep BR work out but I would have had to re-arrange my STS schedule in order to do it. I ALMOST went for it but then decided to stick to the plan! ;) I enjoyed the work out. Went heavier again then what the work out card suggested. GO ME! :p

Laura:: Hope that headache did NOT turn into a migraine for ya y'day!

THURS - one step closer to long weekend - woot woot!!

Hey -

My headache went away - thank the Lord - damn PIA :mad: but I re-grouped and worked out my frustrations!! OH MY LAWD what a workout - I did a different format - and threw in various bodyrock segments - it kicked our @$$ - one of my girls - said - "Laura was that part of your Insanity program" - I laughed and said no - I should have said NO IT IS HARDER than my insanity program!! YIKES!!!! between that and my STS legs DOMS: calves (eeeoouuch) - shoulders - back - and a bit into the hips!!! :eek: :D

So today I AGAIN got up and I did STS Meso 2 week 3 back and bis!! I managed to up the weight a bit and BOY it made a difference!!! YIKES!!!

Wendy - you may have a convert to adding my morning workouts - I think I will cut it to 2 - 3 times a week after my vaca tho!!!

Tonight is PLYO class - i think I am going to play w/the reps and timed segments to mix it up a bit :eek: my poor class is gonna hate me!!!!! I am having a girls POOL PARTY this SAT :cool: should be a blast!!! Will try to get some pics - I added some from my class and the fishing trip to my picture trail if u wanna check them out!!! I gotta get to cleaning tonight .. YIKES .. :confused: lots to do b-4 they get there!!!

Laura:: Wow sounds like all good news for you! I'm glad you are liking the morning work outs. As far as I'm concerned, getting yourself moving to work out can be tough no matter what time you do it. I know cause I've worked out at all times from 5am to 8pm! You just have to find the time frame that fits your lifestyle/schedule best! :)

I didn't have a chance to check in this morning. I did Cardio Power and Resistance and plan on doing Imax 3 tomorrow morning. I'm getting ready to head out to bootcamp class...fun fun fun!

Wendy-nice work this morning! I was just giving you a hard time...do the BR w/o whenever it best fits your schedule. I had to laugh at all us fools you got to the w/o when you bailed on it!:p

Laura-glad the headache went away. I love morning w/o's otherwise they just wouldn't happen at all. Too funny.....your class thinks your making the do Insanity!:D Your girls pool party sounds like fun! Heading over to check out your pics!

Good Morning.

I was supposed to rest today but I didn't wanna :p so I did Step Blast and the abs/planks from SJP instead. I am considering doing STS Legs + Chest and Back work outs all in one day over the weekend so I can rest on the other day. If that doesn't happen then I'll definitely be resting on Monday so we'll see!

Had another WW weigh in today...down .6#! Total weight loss goal is 10#. I've officially lost 7# so far! :) WW tried telling me today that I'm losing weight too fast. HUH? I don't think so. That's crazy! I'm averaging between .5 and 1# per week. That's always been a healthy amount to lose every week as far as I ever knew! Go figure! :rolleyes:

The graduation ceremony for DS last night was very cute but the gym it was in was waaaay too hot! :eek: Tonight we are going out to dinner with family to celebrate at our favorite pizza place/italian restaraunt. Should be fun! :)

Diana:: Oh I know you were only busting chops. No worries! :) I did/do feel bad for having had to skip that work out though after I got others to do it because I was doing it. :( Oh well, y'all got a great work out in anyway and I will get it done next week for sure! ;):D

Off to refill the coffee cup! TGIF!

Happy Friday Ladies,

I've been up for a while doing laundry. When I don't work from home during the week the laundry starts to pile up. I haven't had a complete rest day in a long time so today may be it.

Bootcamp class was awesome last night! Tons of hills...love'em! It even rained on us but we hung in there cuz we ain't no sissies! I even added on coremax 3 last night when I got home.

Tonight we are going to karaoke with some of my coworkers. Tomorrow is DH's birthday and Sunday is Father's day. Somewhere in there I need to start Meso 2. I'm hoping to get Disc 13 done tomorrow before we head out for my neices graduation party and DH's festivities.

Wendy-congrats on the weightloss girl!! It's hard to do 2 STS w/o's in the same day. I try to do UB, LB, cardio, UB, Cardio, Cardio, then start the next STS week. Congrats to Joey too...he's so handsome! Is he excited to be starting first grade?

Laura-hope you have a great time with the girls this weekend!

Lori-where are you missy?

Off to check out the BR site for some potential ab work for this morning.

So this is where we are going for dinner toninght: Home Page

It was originally a hole in the wall pizza place where they literally made grandma's old fashioned pizza recipe and few other stand by italian dishes. They had a few tables in there but the bulk of their business was pizza take out. They've been around since my mom was young. She would go there as a teenager with her friends after school. Some years ago though they were forced out of their store due to eminant domain when the city wanted to do something with the land there. :mad: On the bright side though, after being shut down for a while much to our shagrin, the DID end up re-opening in a location that is closer to my DH and I (YAY!) and they are now a big full service restaraunt and bar with an expanded their menu! It's a really nice place now. No more hole in the wall! ;) So I guess eminant domain actually did them a favor! :D

Diana:: Laundry. UGH! I feel your pain. It's a constant battle to keep up! Sometimes I win it and sometimes I don't. :rolleyes: Glad you enjoyed BC class last night. Sounds tough! I remember when I ran and had to conquer hills...it would feel like I was going to spew my lungs out of my mouth!:eek: TMI? LOL So your DH's B'day and Father's Day are back to back!? Gonna be a busy weekend for you lady! :) Have fun at kareoke. I can't sing worth a ding dong but it's still fun to try!...After a few rum n cokes that is! :p:D I'm going to ATTEMPT the 2 STS's tmrw b/c trying to squeeze them in before we head out on Sunday for Father's Day will be too rushed I think. They are M3's so they move slow and do not exhaust me in the same way that a faster moving work out does. I'll do chest&back first I think and then legs. Wish me luck!;) Thanks re the weight loss and Joey. Yup-he's excited! He was practicing the song his class sang at graduation for about 2 weeks! Too cute. :) So what did ya come up with for ab work today?

THANK GOD it is FRIDAY - we are short handed but boss opened on the counter w/PIA - maybe he could tell she was on my LAST RAW nerve ystdy!! :confused: :mad::mad: so I am in my cubby - gonna try to keep head down and out of the way!!!

Last night's plyo was great - I changed the tempo - did cycles of 2 plyo moves max reps - 30 sec rest - then repeated 5 less reps 15 sec rest - third set was back to back no rest!!! :eek: then ended w/ plank torture and 1/2 burpee knee ins and full vsits - :D class was moaning!! {{ insert evil grin }}

Wendy - congrats on weight loss .. now did you REALLY have 10 pounds to loose??? dont get SKINNY on us now missy!!! I think that is fast weight loss - but not TOO fast!!! most dont exercise like you do!!!

Di - bootcamp sounds awesome - yo go girl - humping it in the rain to boot!!! YES .. LOL .. my girls think i have lost my mind again - LOL she thought I was going Sean T on them - I hate to tell them Zuzana and Me will give Sean T asylum a kick in the pants!!! LOLOLOL

SO today I GOT UP again and nocked out STS LEGS :D I was POURING sweat - those heavy weights are killer - and my body was already feeling PRETTY DARN BEAT UP from this weeks antics!!!! but NO WORKOUT tonight other than the fun kind ;) plan on going home - joining hubby in the pool - having some couple time - cooking a steak and ;) .. then I have to get the CLEANMAX in overdrive - I really dont have a lot to do .. really will be last minute stuff! we should have a blast tmrw!!!! I HOPE!!

Laura:: How much weight I had to lose is very subjective so it's hard to answer that question. All I can say is that I have an image in my mind of what I want my body to look like and weight loss is necessary to acheive it! Too skinny? No way. I love my muscle too much for that to happen girl so no worries!!! :) I'm after the lean and muscular look not the skinny fat one! Oh and btw, my mom LOVES to tell me when she thinks I am getting too thin-even though I think she's crazy but anyway, I saw her y'day and she didn't say a thing so it's all good! LOL ;) Great class! I saw the pics of your class on picture trail and was tired after just looking! LOL So how big were those fish you all caught!? OMG they look HUGE!:eek:

Hi Ladies,

I had a fun time with some coworkers at karaoke last night. I don't sing, but I dance! I was up around 6:15 but DH wanted to watch a movie in bed...then DS2 made DH breakfast in bed. I finally just ate something and hope to get STS Disc 13 outta the way soon.

I have a lot to do today. Bake a cake for DH, drop off his truck to be detailed, bbq, nieces graduation party...and on and on and on.

Wendy-Enjoy STSX2 today missy! My obliques are sssooo sore this morning. I know it's from the BR ab focused w/o I did yesterday morning. I posted it on FB yesterday.

Laura-I just checked out your picture trail....nice muscles young lady! Nice action shots too...:) Your class looks like a ton of fun. So I'm not much of an outdoor girl...those fish are quite disgusting...and so many to clean...or gut as my dad would say-yuck! The fishing part is fun though, its the aftermath I don't want to deal with.

Lori Lori...wher are you missy? Hope all is well and your just too busy to get here.

I did STSx2 this morning! First legs srl disc 38 and theb chest and back disc 28. Aye Carrumba! :eek: I took motrin as soon as I was done!;)

Tomorrow is a rest day. That's why I did this. No work out for me on a Sunday! Very unusual but guilt I will not feel! :p

I know that Diana saw this on FB but for anyone that didn't, I attached my 5# ankle weights to the bottom of my 10# vest (Cathe's vest) and presto, I magically had a 20# vest w/o spending a dime! ;) Made all the difference in the world. This leg work out was much better then the first one! I will be sticking with SRL for sure now. :)

Di:: Hope you were able to get your work out done. Sounds like DH is king of the hill this weekend huh? ;) I found the BR ab w/o link on fb. TY. I will be adding it to my to-do list even if it waits until my official BR rotation starts next month! :D I have a love/hate relationship with sore obliques. Love to do the work that will make it happen but man it makes feel like I could snap in half when it hurts bad enough! I feel your pain! Been there many times! :eek:
 
Nice workout Wendy! I may have to double up STS w/o's tomorrow. I didn't work out today but was long overdue for a complete rest day. I'm starting Meso2 tomorrow.

We had a great day! We spent the morning watching movies and Chelsea Handler..love her! This afternoon we were at our nieces graduation party. Ordered chinese food for dinner....just relaxing now. I did have cake at the grad party but I think its the chinese that did me in. I made a cake for DH's birthday but we won't be cutting it until tomorrow.

Hi Girls,

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am still alive. I haven't been feeling well at all. I have been either sleeping or making annual trips to the washroom:confused: So of course my workouts have been nonexistant either. I will try to pop in when I can. Im 8 weeks now so hopefully this won't last to long!:(

Hi Ladies,

Lazy day today. I'm planning on doing Disc 13 and cardio. I was going to do Disc 13 and 15, but feel cardio is needed with all the indulgences of yesterday. I'm going to have to stop eating chinese food. The last 3 times I've had it just tears up my stomach. I'm sure it's all the yummy seasonings.

Lori-so glad to hear that everything is okay...well just the normal effects of the first trimester of pregnancy. You need to rest and take it easy for a while. Take care of yourself missy. We'll all workout for you so rest up.

Disc 13 is done. I'm sitting here now icing my shoulder. Those chest flyes with 30#'s weren't too friendly on my injured shoulder. I may have to rethink doing STS right now. Anything that causes my elbow to go back further than my hip stresses the bicep tendon, those would include chest flyes, rear dealt flyes, rows etc. I plan on doing the next legs disc tomorrow. Back work is very questionable at this point in time. :mad:

We got netflix working for DH for father's day as well as detailing his truck. He's pretty happy. We had to buy a dongle for the blueray player since it wasn't able to read our wireless router. It's all good now!
