I'll be back in a bit from work to catch up on personals.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Ladies,

So the procedure is behind me. It was painful even though I had numbing cream on for about an hour before they started. I looked like I got beat up right after the procedure, this morning my eyes are so swollen and I look like I've been crying all night. It pretty much feels like a really bad sunburn. It's still to red that I can't tell if my problem spots are gone and I have to keep all this goopy medication on it. From what I can tell, it's taken 5-7 years off my face...but that could just be the swelling-lol.

The Dr. said I could workout as soon as I felt up to it, and I don't yet. Definitely don't want any sweat or any of this medication getting into my eyes.

Wendy-So are you still loving meso 2? I was able to use 20# db's for the bicep work STS total body again. My pace is much slower than Cathe's and not nearly as pretty, but I wan't my biceps to pop like the rest of you gals! Your dinner the other night looked great. 7pts for dinner is also very good!

LauraT-Congrats on rocking your speaking gig! My old boss used to have us do things that took us out of our comfort zone. One time, in order to go to a conference...we had to give a presentation to get our registration fee waived. A coworker and I practiced in a conference room, and then in our auditoreum, finally presented in the auditoreum to our team. Then we presented the material at the conference in Canada! Your co-worker will be thanking you in about 4 weeks when she starts noticing the changes in her lowerbody!! By the way, I'm taking pictures about every 12 hours or so. So far, before the procedure, right after, and this morning.

Hi LauraR, Jacque, and Tiffany!

Diana:: Yes, I LOVE M2! The back off sets I am doing now can be tricky to get set up in time but all of the work outs are awesome! Love the non-frenetic pace of M2 as compared to M1! Yup-I did 2 back to back BBC cardios y'day. IDK what I was thinking! LOL I have DOMS to show for it too! ;) So the laser hair removal procedure hurt huh? ITA that you should rest today. A work out doesn't sound like a good idea this soon after...

LauraT:: Glad you did well leading the meeting. Knew you could do it! ;) I hear you on too many CABS. That's my downfall too!:p I can't believe you gave a Cathe-virgin B&G to try right out of the gate! Are you nuts!?!?:D LOL You are a MEAN GIRL! ;) Oh and btw, this morning before putting the tower together I tightened the bolts. They were lose from shuffling it around just as I suspected. I am going to have to pay attn to that and tighten them periodically. If you don't have to move yours, I am sure you won't have the same problem.

Wendy-the laser hair removal is piece of cake. My soreness, burning, and looking like I was hit by a truck (as my son said) is due to the CO2 fractional laser done on my eyes last night. I think I will be quite happy with the finished result. It's hard to tell right now though.

TGIF ... but omg we are busy!

we are shorthanded and BUSY  gotta make this quick - I taught plyo last night - but got to hurting from stupid stone so had to cut class early .. UGH ... today is body functioned forced rest day  :(:(

Di - you had the Madonna proceedure done right? that is what I was thinking you had done .. what i WOULD LOVE to have done .. but I am too scared of needles and need extra $$$$ to do it too ... :( ..

Wendy - ya i dont have to move my tower .. so shouldnt have that issue! ya my coworker - is fussing - but happy b/c she is hurting where she wanted to :p

Hello to any that may follow!!

if my BODY cooperates I am doing my "new" workout tmrw  I am excited - wish me luck! Ok it is busy .. i gotta jet .. hope ya'll have a great weekend!!! ;)

Well, I pulled the trigger so to speak. I joined WW online. Cool sight. I think I'm gonna like this! ;) Seems quite doable to me. I've logged my food for today and keeping in mind that I hadn't actually measured what I ate because I wasn't planning to track it today so I had to guesstimate amounts, I've only consumed about half of my daily allowed points so far! That should leave me plenty of room for my glass of wine, dinner and even a small dessert or snack! :D

Diana:: Oh ok phew. Good to know. I was about to wuss out of a laser hair removal consult after reading your post! LOL

LauraT:: I hope some day to be in a house where I don't have to shuffel the bigger equipment around so much. I'd like to be able to leave my tower assembled and in a good spot for use, etc. Some day!

Hi Ladies,

I've gotten a lot accomplished today. It's easy when there aren't any interruptions.

I opened the Asylum and am not happy with the hybrid rotations. They hybrids are doing two w/o's on the same day. That won't work for me. It's an am and pm w/o's. I can easily schedule one, but the second w/o is a bonus when I have the chance.

Wendy-You will be fine with the laser hair removal, especially if you have dark hair. The laser for dark hair is much less painful than the laser they use on me, the one for light/blonde/clear. Also the upperlip area is pretty sensitive anyway. I can leave my tower put together, but I do have to put it aside when I'm not using it. I like the WW site too...welcome aboard. We have a WW checkin if you want to join us. I only check in there 1-3 times per week. Pop on in if you want to.

Laura-There were no needles you silly girl, its a laser. I'm not fond of needles either, but manage to donat to bonfils quarterly. What's your new workout that you're doing tomorrow?

Diana:: ITA on the Asylum Hybrids. I didn't even want to count on having to do 2 w/o's a day when I was a SAHM and had the time to do it! I will do doubles of cardio and weights on weekends but I won't necessarily split them up and I tailor the cardio to my mood/energy/time I have left to work out. I can't be beholden to 2 full work outs like that w/no room to adjust. Just do the regular Asylum with maybe one F/B weight work out each week. That's what I did for Insanity and it worked out quite well! :) Yeah the hair I want removed is dark for sure so no worries there. I am trying to decide when the best time is to have this done. Ofcourse I want it ASAP but because I would like to tan this summer (both on vacation in august and prior to), I am thinking summer is not a good time for me b/c they say sunburn and laser hair removal is not a good match. I am capable of burning so I'd rather not take the chance. I also don't want to go for the consult until I know I can get the procedure done b/c if I am interested I am gonna wanna make my 1st appt ASAP! All of this being said...I guess I will shave all summer and go for my consult right before or after my vacation. Then I should be able to make an appt within a few weeks if there is one available. :)

So my first day on WW is complete and I feel good about it. It's such a flexible program. I ate for the last time around 8pm and used the last of my daily points BUT if I want something else there is always the veeeeery long list of "freebies" to choose from if I don't want to dip into activity points or those other points that I don't recall the name of! This is so kewl!

And with that, I bid you a good night. Getting ready to put the boy to bed and get in the sack myself. Want to be up early tmrw...lots to do!

Good Morning,

Guess it will probably just be me and Wendy this weekend. Hopefully LauraR will pop in and let us know she's made it, and Jacque can update us on her week.

The area around my eyes looks so much better today. It feels very tight and dry and I have to keep medication on it at all times and not allow it to dry out. I guess it will start peeling in the next couple of days but for right now it doesn't look too terrible. I have a follow appt this afternoon but it looks pretty good so far.

I do plan on working out this morning. Nothing is really coming to mind so I'll just pick something out when I get downstairs. I also have to write a resume this weekend, yikes.

Wendy-The laser hair removal will take multiple sessions to be hair free. The hair grows in cycles so you should see less and less hair after each appt. You would have a session every 4-6 weeks meaining it could take 4-6 mos to be hair free, twice as long for my blond/clear hair. They do advise you to use sunscreen as you should anyway. I'm guessing you have the 39 Daily Points (DP), 49 Weekly Points (WP) and then you can earn activity point. I used to use AP before WP, but switched to using WP before AP. It is much easier to acurately determine WP, AP are much more subjective.

Today's work out was D17/legs, abs fro PH and the STS extended stretch. I may or may not do cardio later if I have time but I'm not set on it cause M2 legs beats me up good!

Diana:: Thanks for the laser info. I was given 29 daily points, 49 weekly points and whatever I earn each day for Activity points which was 4 for D16 y'day. Gotta log in to plug into today's work out and snack afterwards yet. I went to bed a little hungry y'day but was able to fall asleep fine. We'll see what happens today. I'll probably do better today b/c I seem to be less hungry when I home because I am busier then when I am at work. Go figure.

Off to update WW and then get the boy ready to hit the foodstore. Hoping to have time to cook another new recipe tonight before I head over to a friend's house to hang out.

I'll pop back in over lunch to see if anyone is around..

Guess you are busy Diana since you haven't been back...

I got everything done and now I am waiting for DH and DS to get back from 5pm Mass so that we can eat! I made a chicken dish called Chicken and Mushrooms in a White Wine Sauce and made butternut squash mashed with a little substitute butter spread and some agave nectar in it. Never made the squash before so I tasted it and yummy, it's good! The chicken dish should be good too based on the spoon I licked and the mushroom that I ate! ;) Can't wait for them to come home so we can dig in! :D

I put the meal in WW and it's 9 or 10 points total. That's a lot IMO but it's okay. I do not intend to eat such high point dinners every night. Ofcourse I added to the point total by putting stuff in the squash but that was only 2 points worth. Could be worse.

So I am ready to go uber early. I had the time and instead of waiting and ending up running late and rushing, I decided to get everything done so I am dressed and ready to go and all of cooking dishes are washed already. All that needs to be done after dinner is washing of the plates, etc and wiping down the table. I'll probably get irritated waiting to leave after that cause I'm so used to running late and having everyone wait for ME! LOL Ah well...I guess I can try eating slower. :p

Ok, novel over! :D

I'll be back in the morning and hopefully if I am the first one here I'll remember to start a new thread cause it'll be Sunday!

Wendy-well I wasn't too terribly busy. I did MM, showered, ate and headed to my follow up apt. Everything is healing nicely. Then I was off to the grocery store and did some laundry. I guess I was busy, but the day flew by. Your dinner sounds delicious. My first WW leader told us to eat like a king for breakfast, less at lunch (can't remember the term) like a pauper at dinner. I tend to follow that motto. I eat more for breakfast and less at dinner.
