I did upper first but in my own order as follows::

Triceps (dips first since I can never finish them when they are last)
Biceps
Shoulders
Back
Chest
Warrior Lunges
Stationary Lunges
Squats

Had to omit abs for time.

Gotta jet...BBL from work!:)
 
OMG what a bad morning! Everything was fine until I finished ^^^^ post and got off the computer! I started packing food, etc and before I knew it I was leaving the house 15 mins late and needed to get gas! :rolleyes: Wait...it gets worse! So I drop DS off at school and am on my way to a gas station. I am stopped (COMPLETELY) at a light so I pick up my purse and open it and am looking for my check card to pay for the gas. Well apparently my friggin' foot slipped off the break and I rolled into the woman in front of me. :eek::eek: Thankfully she had no damage and was a total doll about it (Laura-there's an example of someone being kind hearted during the holidays!) but my liscense plate holder is cracked/crunched a bit. No other damage to my car that I saw and I sincerely hope I didn't miss anything!!! The holder is enough though. I'm sooo upset! :(:eek::mad: I'm gonna call the dealer for a price to replace it after the holidays. I hope it's no more then like $100. Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!
 
Jacque:: Busy weekend for you. Sounds like you had fun despite the headache. Good job on the step premix of INTENSITY. That's a good challenge all by itself! DH does the wireless mouse on the arm of the couch too. I haven't tried it yet. Perhaps I should! :D

So my left shoulder/arm has been wonky lately. It's historically my stronger side but not as of late. My shoulder is bothering me and I just can't lift the way I should be able to with that side these days-especially shldr wrk and triceps. I think today was my last u/b workout until I start STS in a few weeks. It's obviously SCREAMING for a rest. I hope it helps. Fingers crossed!

WENDY ... omg .. you poor thing .. THAT is a BAD MORNING :( gosh ... hoping that the rest of the day is better .. dang girl!!! I thought you were about to say you didnt have money and ran out of gas ... but man bumping someone is just as bad ... but at least she was good about it .. and no damage except license plate ... that is a good thing!!!

Well our gathering was awesome last night .. good food and CABS flowed .. really nice!! :D I got THE CUTEST Santa rug .. he is laying in a lounge chair on the beach sunning in his Christmas breifs .. w/his Christmas hat on and CAB in hand . and a Christmas penguin laying in sun next to him .. it is PRICELESS .. yes it is going in the pool room!!! And i got lots of Auburn stuff woot woot!!:D

today is my FRIDAY .. double woot woot!!! and I got my exercise DVD's in .. TRIPLE WOOT WOOT!!!:D:D:D:eek: Yes I will be letting BH torture me w/KBs tmrw morning!!!:D bring on the DOMS again!!!!:p This will be good test for the shoulder .. I made it thru push ups the other day .. it did FAIR ... but the KB and planks should put it thru thorough test ..

Jacque .. glad everything is good with you .. yes you do sound like you have been a busy bee!!! I gave my furbabies some extra hugs and kisses from you ;)

Laura:: Thanks re the fender bender. Could've been worse but still killed my morning. :( I've actually only run out of gas once in my life (knock on wood) but have come close many times! :rolleyes::rolleyes: The rug sounds cute. Glad you had fun last night. Enjoy BH tmrw. Let me know what you think. Jen absolutely loves these new workouts of his but then again, she is totally in love with BH, period, so she could be a bit bias!!! ;):D:p I feel you on the shoulder issues w/the trouble I've been having lately. I'm gonna rest my u/b for a couple of weeks and see if that helps.
 
Hi Ladies,

I actually logged into work this morning and responded to some emails. I feel so much better, no pain meds and no pain!!!

Today is back to GS BSB and abs. My chest was flamin' yesterday doing all that chest work with 25#'s again, but boy does it make me feel strong! The rest of the day will be spent wrapping presents. There is not a single gift under my tree and I think Jerod is getting worried.:p

I bought some shelving a few weeks ago to help us organize and get stuff off the basement floor. According to the directions, it should take 10 minutes for 2 adults to put together. AAHhhem...Jerod and I couldn't do it. Thankfully DH and Jerod were able to get it done last night and we moved some stuff. We have another shelf to go but will probably wait until after xmas. I bought 2 wall mounts for the tv in our room, and my w/o tv. I'm hoping one of my nephews will take the entertainment center and old tv from the basement. I know it should only take a couple hours to get our basement organized, but I need help and no one wants to help me. It's so frustrating.

Anyone else see the lunar eclipse last night? I was awake and on the computer when DS1 got home from work at 1:15am. I didn't know anything about until then. It was pretty awesome, considering I'll be dead the next time there's a lunar eclipse.

We get to meet Cody's girlfriend-Heather tonight. She also has a 2 yr old daughter named Jaxson. Cody went to high school with her. She works full time but lives with her parents too. He is applying for a State job today, actually its the same job he had previously. The downside is it's only a temp job and will be over in 6 mos. It pays $4 more an hour and it's full time for 6 mos, vs low wages and 32 hours/wk at walmart.


Wendy-Hugs girl, sorry you had such a bad morning. I never get gas on my way to work and always make sure I get it on my way home if necessary. That one extra stop changes my day. Nice w/o too. I really wish Cathe told us what weight she was using in this w/o. It's nice to have a guide. TBH, it looks like they are using bodypump weights which are in kg's, not #'s. I also think Power Hour is harder than HR. Glad you mentioned STS, I was wondering if that was still a go for us! I'm already dreading all the pushups.

Laura-Good for you for taking some vacation. I'm still on medical leave, my vacation doesn't kick in until Dec 28th-when my girls arrive. What new DVD's have you purchased? My Michelle Dozios and Jillian DVD's should arrive next week, and I bought some Jackie Warner DVD's from target last week.

Jacque-you have been a busy bee of late. Did you get DS all moved to a bigger apartment? Is it a 3 bedroom? I hope so, with 2 boys and toys etc you really need the extra space. Enjoy the game tonight. I really like Intensity, but have only done it once in full and another time only had time for part of it.

Lori-ITA, you should have your one client log her food. Even in my rec ctr classes, they have us do a minimum 3 day food journal making sure one of those days is a weekend day. They recommend either fitday.com or I think its the dailyplate.com, not sure though. I already use fitday so and all my regular foods are already in there. Hope you have a great day.

Hi Girls!

Just as the boss leaves for lunch, someone else likes to come in and yack at me:mad: Can't they tell I am BUSY!;)

Yesterday evening was a complete rat race...Ugh! I had to pick DS up from preschool, take him home to DD, come back to work, pick up food on the way home (again), training at 7 and back to work at 9! I was so moody by the time I got home. Today I had another workout session at 6:30 and I did NOT want to get out of bed! One of these days I just know I am gonna end up sleeping in.

Wendy** What a terrible morning! I thought the same thing as Laura. I thought you were gonna say that you broke down for gas! I have done that before:eek: And my inlaw run a gas station...double :eek::eek:! I am happy to hear she was nice about it, unlike the witch I backed into last Fall. I am hoping your day is going better.

Laura** Sounds like you had a great evening. Enjoy your new workouts!

Diana** I told her to start logging her food but I highly doubt that she does that. I also told her that in the new year she will have to decide if she wants to follow a structured program like WW or something. She obviously doesn't have the discipline to do it on her own and she is going on a trip in April and wants those 10 lbs gone. Soooo....she is gonna have to do something about it. Glad to hear your foot it feeling good. I am always sore after chest work. I don't have to do much to be sore in that area.

Jacque** You have been a busy girl too! Its hard not to be during this time of year. I did manage to get out of the office yesterday for a hour:D And I will do so again shortly! My dad was going to get my mom a laptop but he is now gonna wait until the new year to do that...so he gave me some money today to go do her shopping.Just one more thing for me to do!:eek: Nice workout yesterday!!!

Found out this morning that my job is closing at 3pm on Friday. Yay. It's better then nothing and will buy me time to chill before heading out for our Christmas Eve festivities. Hopefully they do the same for NYE. :)

Diana:: Getting gas is a PITA no matter how you slice it. In the morning, for somone like me who is under the gun for time 9x out of 10, stopping only makes it worse BUT on the way home I am on autopilot and want nothing to do with getting gas. I just wanna GO HOME...or some where FUN like A/C...or the liquor store for more wine or captain! :D:p;) Enjoy the present wrapping frenzy today. Hope you get it all done! Sorry about the lack of help in your house. I know how you feel. :rolleyes:

Lori:: Yup I was thankful the lady I bumped was so sweet as well. Unfortunately the idiot that tried to strong arm me out of his way and then honked at me when I wouldn't budge as we were approaching the tolls for the turnpike was *not* so nice and it took all I had not to flip him the bird! :mad: He was being an idiot IMO as I didn't do anything wrong. He just decided that I was in his way and got mad when he couldn't make me move. Oh well. Too effin' bad! :p Reading about your "rat race" got me all aggitated. JUST READING ABOUT IT! LOL If I had to keep that schedule I'd surely have freaked!:eek:

STS in January...

Okay, I was thinkin' that if the majority of our little group will be doing STS come January (which I *think* is the case...or atleast most were considering it..), that we will need to change our check in name (yet again...how many times is this now? LOL). So what'll be ladies? Any ideas?? :)

No workout to report yet...or wrapping for that matter. I got DS to take me shopping. I still need to go food shopping but that will have to wait. DS needs to sleep, he's been up about 24 hours. I need to get busy wrapping just to make sure I haven't forgotten anyone or anything.

So, for the new check-in name, how about using the STS letters in the name. Super Tough & Strong.....something motivating for all of us. All you ladies are much more creative than me....lets hear some suggestions! What about , Sore Tough and Strong or Super Tough and Sore...I dunno.:D

Di - I ordered Bob Harper's new kettlebell DVDs .. :D from same series as my others .. Inside Out Method and Paul Katami - KB drills :D. Yes I love the MD DVD's .. she is full out all the time .. but good form and well qued .. she is a bit "hyper" for my taste.. it is FAST kinda like Insanity but w/better form .. but good workouts .. some of the moves I had to modify b/c of my knee but THUMBS UP from me!!!! ;) I hate you are at house feeling good and wanting to do stuff but cant .. that is the pits .. but if you are feeling that much better it wont be long!!

Lori .. my FL friend said that Cathe is about to add on a food diary part to the workout manager ... that may be something to keep in mind too!!! You have been full speed ahead here lately girlie!~!

OH AND DI .. the name is PERFECT ..

Laura:: I am keeping my distance from the MD work outs until the entire series is released and then I will see what, if any, I want to buy soooo LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU when you talk about MD w/Diana!!! :p My day has improved. Nothing terrible happened after I got to work and the day is actually flying by! Now as long as DH doesn't change his mind and decide to give me all kinds of grief over the car later, it'll all be good. :rolleyes: LUCKILY tonight's his bowling night so he won't be around for very long tonight and by the time he gets home I'll be sleeping! LOL
