3 mile run/walk is done! Running the day after a leg workout is TOUGH! But it was a good workout. Even though it was tough, I still felt strong!
Wendy--Good job yesterday on DM! That is one that still intimidates me. And, let me be the one to empower this time . . . you HAVE to buy Imax2. It is so much fun. It is TOUGH, but way fun. In fact, a while back when someone on the forums was rating workouts, that one was ranked the fave.
LauraT--Good job on the plyo-torture! I love cardio workouts, but plyo is SO TOUGH for me. My slow-strength muscles work way better than my explosive strength muscles. Kudos to you. I would love to try Kettlebell workouts. I have one of Cathe's med balls with the handle on my Amazon wish list. I'm sure that kettlebells give you an all-over workout and good functional core exercise.
More cardio today...I'll decide on exactly what when I get in there...
LauraR:: Oh I already have IMAX2 on dvd. Have had it for years! Just scooped up the download last night for use on the WOB since it's on sale for 30% off. Can't pass up a good deal you know. Good job on the work out! The tougher it is, the more accomplished you feel when you are done!
Wendy--I see. Yes, I'm loving having Cathe downloads. On my last trip, I took Travel Fit on my iPhone and loved it. I couldn't imagine that you didn't have Imax2, and now I understand.
My friend that has been battling cancer - is undergoing brain surgery this morning - PLEASE say a prayer for her - she has fought for so long - and was doing so much better - but was rushed to hospital yesterday - we are all devestated - and need as many prayers and positive energy sent her way that is humanly possible!
I did manage to get the BH KB w/o done - upped my KB weight - it was a great workout - he ends w/standing core work =- it was good!!! Was gonna do Jillians 6 pack abs - but he fried my core - so skipped it!
Wendy - what is a WOB? ..
LauraR- thing about plyo work .. at first it seems impossible - but those fast twitch muscle fibers can QUICKLY train and you get stronger and faster pretty quick - and while even after vast improvement it is still KICKARSE w/o it wont ever be as hard as when you first start to do Plyo work!

OK .. so today is FINALLY my REST day - doing nothing - tmrw I plan on doing BH cardio shred or strength or a HiiT - and 1/2 of Jillians abs .. then SUN it is STS TB ... OK .. gotta run .. have a great FRIDAY .. and please keep my friends in your prayers!!!
Thanks Wendy ... just heard ..my friend still in surgery - but Dr said it is going well .. will be prbly 4 more hours .. .. poor thing!! Keep prayers and positive strong energy coming!!!

Quiet day here today. Hope everyone is well and just busy busy.
I am heading out after work (after a quick stop home to change and pack a bag) for a girls' night. There are 4 of us getting together. We will be going to bar/restaraunt for drinks and dinner or munchies and then probably all crashing back at my BFF's house since the festivities will all be local to her. Should be fun! I just hope I can still get my work out done tmrw!
