Morning Glories.

Well, no crazy DOMS from y'day's workout...yet! I'm not convinced I still won't get though some so we'll see!

Today the rotation calls for MMA: Boxing. I love this work out but would prefer more lower body involvement the day after a crazy lower body work out. That being said, I'll be subbing with one of my k/b's. Perhaps the one I bought myself for Christmas will work! :p If I have time I would also like to do a 6 week six pack w/o. I'll probably opt for trying #1 today. :)

So what's everyone doing today? I should probably do some laundry. Seems there's always a mountain of it to be done. *sigh* I also really need to start digging into that pile of boxes that is staring at me in the living room. Never got there y'day. I think I was subconsciously avoiding it! lol

Well, that's all for now since I was last to post y'day.

Have a good day all.

Good Morning!:D

Its been a long weekend of socializing:confused: I had a couple of drinks at my work party on Fri night and I woke up feeling not so great but I think it was b/c I was tired. I didn't have enough to drink to feel yucky. I got in bed at 2:30 and realized that I had been non stop for 20 hrs. I didn't stop on Fri and didn't get a workout in either! Yesterday I managed to do 45 mins of cardio and then I had 4 workout sessions. Today I only have 2 so I should be able to get a good workout in myself:) Im hoping to try LLB today.

Wendy** are the boxes Christmas decorations??? Your going to have to start decorating as early as I do next year;)

Im gonna read yesterdays thread....

Lori:)

Lori:: Wow, you've been a busy girl. Hope you enjoy LBB. I think it's awesome with lots of options to keep boredom at bay! The boxes in my livingroom are all filled with gifts from online shopping! I have to open everything to see what I have and start wrapping! DH and DS took care of the tree/house decos one day last week while I was running an errand after work. This is 2 yrs in a row now that mom escaped being a part of the decorating. Perhaps father and son will make it a LONG-LASTING tradition! You won't find me complaining! ;)

O.k.....

Wendy** I don't get to overwhelmed when I have tons to do, unless I don't have the time. I can do alot in one day...I am very good at that. I often blow peoples minds away when I tell them what I did in one day. As long as DS is behaving himself, its usually a good situation. I am looking forward to LLB today....crossing my fingers your legs get sore!:p

Jacque** Sounds like you had a awesome night with your inlaws! Its so nice to have girls nights. Most of the girls I am working with are seeing results. One as lost 9 lbs and is really seeing results. The other has lost 2 lbs but just feels great in general. I had a new lady starting today and I have to say, for her age, her form was awesome. I thought she was gonna be more like my mother and kinda "not good" but she was.The girl that isn't seeing results brought it up again yesterday. She is getting stronger but not losing weight. And AGAIN I had to remind her that she needs to do things on her days off from me and she AS to clean up her eating:mad:. I refuse to take the blame. She is coming back today. Hope you are having a good weekend.

Laura** Ugh...I don't know how you can work in an enviroment like that! I would be soooo over that. Why are people so angry all the time? LOL I enjoyed your eye story....hehe! Hope you had an awesome "me" day yesterday!

Diana** Did you get shopping?? Poor thing. If I was closer I would have took you shopping. I am gonna run out today and get a few things I need to get. I should almost be done then.

Oh DS's christmas concert was priceless. When I dropped him off he was crying b/c it was really loud. If the kids weren't crying, they were banging on toys or horse playing. I passed him over to his teacher and just left. Anyway, he made it through the concert without trying to leave the stage. It was awesome! So cute!

I may bbl!

Hello.

Back to report my work out. Ended up doing a k/b mish mosh of Rapid Fire Kick, Box, Core & Burn; KCM 30 m2f K/B and Kathy Smith's Cardio Knockout K/B w/o. I used weighted gloves and got a great work out as well as some nice stretching for the lower body blasted legs via the kicking. ;) I finished up with 1/2 of 6 week six pack w/o #1. Liked it and look forward to doing it in full next time around. :)

I am pist now though cause it was pointed out to me by a fellow catheite that I could have just added on to MMA Boxing (today's w/o as per the rotation) if I wanted kicking instead of skipping it and she's right. KCM has a kicking premix on her vid that's 20 minutes long. It would have been the perfect add on! Oh well. Maybe next time!

Lori:: I wish I was like you. I can get a lot done when I put my mind to it as well but it's the pressure that gets to me. I don't like feeling like I have a million things I HAVE to get done b/c I automatically feel like I won't have enough time for all of it. When there's no pressure and I'm just doing what I can in the time that I have, I'm much more effective and waaay less aggravated! :p DS' Christmas concert sounds adorable. Hopefully your client who isn't seeing results understands that it is up to HER to finish the job after she leaves her session with you. You can't be there 24/7 to make sure she stays on track but what you COULD do...*smell the fire burnin' in my brain now? LOL* is create an ONLINE BIZ that can go hand in hand with your PT where you keep in touch w/her via emails at an added cost to keep continual motivation flowing and to check in on what she is doing/not doing when she is not with you. What do you think? heheh. :)

Okay, gotta run...gotta get ready to head to Costco for some shopping and then DH and DS want to have lunch there (pizza/hotdogs). I just ate after my work out so hopefully I won't succumb to the temptation...the food is really good!!!

BBL!

Hi ladies,

Woo Hoo, I got my laptop back!!!!! It has a new motherboard, new hard drive, and Windows 7!!!!! I'm a happy camper.:D The only down side is that I do not have my mouse. This may be a quite trying experience for me, but I will make do. If all else fails, I did pick up a wireless mouse for MIL and could open that and get her another one.

My workout this morning was GS BSB. I had forgotten how much I love this series. I also did some ab work from BBC.

DS1 is taking me shopping today, I'm so excited. Obviously I need to finish up as much as possible, knowing DH isn't going to help me or drive me anywhere-ugh.

Wendy-I have no idea how long your w/o took, but it sounds like forever. Nice job getting all that done. We are going to Target and I'm going to take another look for Jillians 6 wk/6pk abs dvd.

Lori-I'm with Wendy and tend to get overwhelmed pretty easily. However, I've noticed most things don't take nearly as long as I think and the stress was unnecessary. Rylan's Holiday party sounds wonderful!

Jacque-how are you and what are you up to today?

Laura-hope you are enjoying the weekend!

Okay- I have no idea how to bold the names without a mouse. Sad, I know. Hhmmm, well I figured it out...sort of.

May bbl

So we went to Costco so the boys could have lunch (LOL). When they were done we did some shopping. We picked up much of the usual that we buy there all the time BUT THEN...we walked through the clothes and they had Michael Kohrs wool peacoats there for $50.00 AND THEY HAD A PURPLE ONE!!! I about died! I tried it on and loved it! DH told me to buy if I liked it. I offered it up as a Christmas gift for me from him but he declined. YAY! It's soooo freakin' pretty! I lurve purple and this coat is adorable! I'm so excited! And Michale Kohrs is $$$ designer so I'm pretty sure I got a good deal! WOOT WOOT! Even if it was made by Kirkland (that's Costco's brand for those who may not be familiar) though for half the price, I'd still be thrilled just cause it's PURPLE! :D

After we got home and put everything away I finally tore into the mountain of boxes in my livingroom. I wrapped almost everything I had except for DS' things and a couple of gifts for my neices. I bought 2 of them each a pillow pet and they are HUGE. I had nothing good to wrap them in so after dinner I went out and bought a couple of bags for them. I needed more wrapping paper anyway. Tonight after DS goes to bed I will finish wrapping what's left in the house. Still expecting 2 gifts that are in transit right now and then whatever DH buys on Thursday but I think it's safe to say that bulk of it will be done by the time I go to bed tonight. Oh and I need to wrap for DH when he's not around as well...perhaps I can do that on Tuesday while he's at bowling. :)

Diana:: Hope you got alot accomplished while you were out shopping thanks to your DS! My work out was about 75 minutes long. I did about an hour of k/b and the ab routine was about 15 minutes long so it wasn't that bad. I like to invest a bit more time on the weekends when I can since my weekday morning workouts are always under the gun for time.
