Damage Control...Sunday

Good Morning Girls.

No one was around yesterday, huh? Thank goodness for Jen's couple of post or I REALLY would have looked lonely there all by myself! :p

Jen: How was the communion/birthday party y'day? Fun I hope. So you liked Burn Intervals I guess? I must admit it's a wee bit evil. LOL Thanks re my scale/BF issues. You are right. I just need to wait and see what the end of the Lean Phase brings. I promise no more complaining until it's over! ;)

NYC was fun. We got in about an hour before the show so we had time to stop for a drink beforehand. The show was FABULOUS! So much fun. Great music and very entertaining! After dinner we grabbed a quick bite to eat and then had a few drinks while playing darts before heading home. It wasn't a late night but I was ready for bed by the time we walked in the door.

Today will be busy with LC #1, a run, house cleaning (if I have time) and finishing up my resume as the PS' office is supposed to call me back tmrw so I want to be prepared! Gotta do all of this before 2 or 3 pm when we have to leave to head up to my MIL's for my B'day dinner/to pick up DS.

Off to get more coffee now!

Wendy, So glad to hear you enjoyed the show! I'm seriously thinking of giving a weekend in the city to my sister for her birthday in August, and now I know of something special to do while there.

Yeah, I found Burn Internals wicked evil! Granted, I haven't done intervals like that in quite some time, and my body is so sore from the other workouts, I'm sure that didn't help. It was tough, but fun.

The party yesterday was nice. I had a couple glasses of wine, though, which I really wanted to stay away from, but once you're in that setting, forget it. Was definitely over my calorie goal for the day, though I don't think it was devastatingly bad.

Today we're celebrating my DD's b-day who turns 11 on Thursday, so I have a lot of food prep to do and I hope to squeeze in my workout beforehand. I have to be ready by 2:00 which only leaves me about four hours, so I best get a move on.

Hello to anyone else who pops in today!

Will BBL tonight~

Jen

Hiya ladies !

Spent my computer time yesterday looking up info for my test next weekend. The day was spent reading and studying and sitting for that amount of time in addition to my day at work on Fri has not treated my back too well.

Since I am planning on continuing the same today, think a workout of some sort of cardio may help limber it up a bit. Will try to aim for about mid day and see if it helps.

Wendy - glad you had a great time last night. Of course I was GROWN by the time the 80's hit :p but it is some of my absolute favorite music - and that of my children's also. They did many a play with music anywhere from the 50's - 80's. All very fun ! Enjoy your BDay dinner at your Mom's tonight !

Jen - Good to hear more positive things about CLX. Will be anxious to see of the Lean phase works for Wendy . . . that might help enable me along with your reviews here too ! ;) Hope your DD's day turns out to be a fun one too ! Guess it is just a birthday sort of a weekend around here.

Diana - see that it is going to be a bit chilly in your neck of the woods today. We've been really wet but not cold. Are you recovering well from your tough workouts last week?

Laura & Lori - how goes it ladies? Lori are you doing OK ? You have been a bit scarce since your trip . . .

May BBL - enjoy your Sunday.

Hi ladies,

Yesterday, Jerod's team finally won their first football game! Other than that there wasn't much going on around here. I slept in this morning but got busy on the laundry as soon as I got up. I can't be wasting the days away in front of the tube-DH is bringin' me down. I can't totally blame him, I think I just needed a mental and physical break from the week of long training hours at work and the tri training that is so late at night. Today is a much better day!

Our lawn is in dire need of mowing but it's too wet. It's going to be a bear the first time we mow it so DH or I will probably have to do it. It doesn't help that we need a new lawn mower too. I'm hoping it warms up/dries out this afternoon so we can take care of it.

I need to do Friday's STS w/o today-shoulders, bi's, and tri's. I'll also do a cardio w/o, to be determined later. Maybe even a run, the sun is peeking out now and it should be mid 60's, perfect running weather for me.

Wendy-sorry about the scale, but I'm with Jen. Don't worry too much about it until after the lean phase. The only place I've been in New York is stranded overnight at La Guardia airport after the Cathe RT. It would have been much more fun to see a show.

Jen-wish DD a happy birthday from your cyber-friends! Hope she has a great party!!! IA regarding Chalene's likeability!

Jacque-I'm sick of the rain here, but the lawn is lush and green...and overgrown! The temps should be mid 60's today and warming up throughout the week. Hope the back feels better. Good luck next weekend on your test. You'll do great I'm sure. My body is feeling back to normal finally.

Lori & Laura-hope you two are enjoying the weekend.

BBL-hopefully to report a w/o:p

Running back through for a quickie ! :p

Studied more and then did 4DS Double Cardio - great workout and, after not working out much lately, the legs wouldn't have made it much farther. Felt good to do something - and the back seems to feel better today. Will definitely start STS Meso 3 tomorrow ! :D

Diana - good to hear you got enough rest after such a tough week last week and are ready for a "new start". ITA you needed some down time - not only did you have training at work so mentally drained yourself, but you worked out lots physically too ! We can only do so much you know? The old bod doesn't keep up quite as well for as long anymore. Do you remember the days when you could go without sleep for nights in a row? Ahhh, now those were some productive days. . . ;)

Woo Hoo for Jerod's team ! Is this regular high school football or do I remember "flag football"? Do you have too large of a yard to use a weed whacker for a trim down before your first mow ? That might make it easier to get the lawn mower through.

Hope you had a great workout and lots of sun ! We only got to the "glare" phase today, though it is nearly 70' out.

See y'all in the AM !

Hey Ladies,

Wow, I got a lot done today. I was able to mow and trim the front and back yard. We have some weeds in the back-will be fertilizing to get rid of them. I also did all the laundry, STS Shoulders, Bi's, Tris, and Disc 37-squat rack legs. Only the guys use a squat rack, Cathe and the girls use the x-vest and a barbell-which is what I did. The only thing missing is abs and I'll be hitting them after some clean up around the house.

I wasn't real impressed with squat rack legs. I used 65-75lbs for all four exercises. They were Squats, Deadlifts, Front Squats and lunges. I did get to use my new x-vest! Next week my extra leg day will probably be GS legs, Legs & Glutes or one of the other leg w/o's.

I've decided to shift the STS w/o's a day so I can do cardio everyday. I'll be doing STS T/Th/Sa this week. It will work out well since I have tri training cardio on T/TH and get cardio in on MWF this way. Tomorrow I plan on running in the morning if its not too cold out.

Jacque-so true, my body is feeling older than I would like. I feel better when I just get moving everyday. That's one of the reasons I take classes at the rec ctr, just to keep my body in motion.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.
