Morning.

I am tired this morning so I hope I didn't miss Lori starting the thread already. I looked but I could've missed it. Taking my chances here...LOL

Y'day's work out was a close call. I posted about it last night on the thread. Got it done but it almost didn't happen. Today's plan is cardio and abs.

I ran. 3 x 9:1 intervals. I consider myself to have achieved a "real" run now. 30 minutes with only 3 minutes of break is a "real" run. :D

Wendy, will have to go back and check out your last post yday.
 
Diana--oh, yes, I know about rearranging my "stuff!" We did a lot of that over Christmas. We did actually get rid of stuff, too, though. I felt so much better. It's amazing what we can accumulate, even so far from retailers! We have the added bonus of being able to pass along our things to folks who will really use and appreciate them!

Wendy--I have a purple room, too. It's our office. It's actually sage and purple, sort of a grapevine theme. But the curtains are purple which makes for a lot of purple. :D

You can get as much as 5mg, but I'd start with 3 and see if it's enough.

Good Morning!

Snow day here today....you wouldn't have missed the thread...I was snoozing away!:D Starting my week off right! I was suppose to have a flight at 3 a.m and workout sessions at 6:30 and 7:30. If the flight canceled from the storm, then I certainly wasn't going to be able to get out of my drive way to go training. (I go to my 7:30 apt's house) And if I had a flight at 3 a.m I wouldn't have been up training 2 hours later either. Soooo....I didn't have to do anything this morning only sleep! Loves it!

I am trying to decide what to do after I finish my coffee. I am wondering if I should read my books for an hour (with another coffee) or start my workout. I don't have much to do today. Wouldn't hurt to clean the house a bit. I should take advantage of this some what slack day and fit in what I can. I find reading easier in the morning b/c Im not tired.

Wendy** Glad to hear you caught Joey's cough early! Unlike us when DS had pneumonia :confused: Worst week of my life! He should be feeling alot better after 24 hours on antibiotics.

Laura** Nice run! I haven't ran past 10k since Nov and 12k was my daily run. After my last marathon I had a funny knee and just felt like I needed a break from running. I did 5 miles on the TM on Sat and that's the longest run I have done in a long time.

Diana** Oh...we have sooo much snow now!:confused: Yuck is really the only word for it! Sounds like you are getting some organizing done with your shelves. How is work going lately?

Good Morning,

Wow, is it Monday already? I have a hard time motivating myself to get up and exercise on Monday mornings. This morning will be a short cardio and abs, 4DS Bootcamp Cardio and abs TBD.

My chest and shoulders have some serious DOM's! I'm looking forward to finishing up this mesocycle probably tomorrow, and spending a week doing cardio. There were a ton of pushups in my w/o yesterday.

Today should be my final appt. and I should be released to do high impact. Unfortunately I had to reschedule, and they can't see me until Feb. 14th. I've been doing some higher impact without any pain. I would like to give running another try. First I need to get myself some new running shoes and orthotics. I plan on doing that this weekend. I will be going to specialty store where they put me on a treadmill and fit me properly.

Wendy-Nice job getting your w/o in last night. For me, if it doesn't happen in the a.m., it's not going to.

LauraR-It sounds like your running program is working for you. I hope to get back to running too. We donate a lot of used stuff, sometimes to my older nieces and nephews who have recently moved out and are on their own.

Lori-Enjoy your snow day! I consider those and extra day to get stuff done too.

Diana:: Enjoy your STS recovery week, Diana! You know in the 6 month rotation you don't get a recovery week until you've done all 8 weeks of each meso!? :eek: I thought I might be due for a recovery week soon since I'm about to start week 4 but noooo, I gotta wait until ALL of Meso 1 is done! YIKES! I'm getting tired just thinking about it! LOL :p I wasn't actually planning on working out y'day until I got home and realized that DH was hunkered down to watch football. Me and DS ate a quick dinner that DH brought us on his way home from work and it wasn't even 6pm when we were done. DS was off to play so I figured, why not since I felt better!? It's not like I was going to make good use of the time if I didn't work out anyway! :p
 
Hey girlies!!!

Qucik run by here .. crazy insane here .. I am up front for PIA she is out .. YIKES .. no workouts to report for the weekend :eek: :eek::eek::eek: OK .. so the girls "kidnapped" me SAT and we went to Auburn for our National Championship celebration - it was AWESOME - the stadium was packed 70,000 + people came .. just great to be part of such a wonderful gratifying celebration .. our guys and coaches are AWESOME!!!! :D Yesterday had a large lazy head .. so I was a bum - I did manage to do some major clean max and we had company over last night which was nice!!

Wendy - saw on FB your muchkin is still sick .. have you managed to steer clear from it?? Hope everyone is better today!!

LauraR - great job on the run .. :D

Di - I said the same thing this morning when I rolled over - MONDAY AGAIN?? SO SOON?? LOL

Lori - you finally got a snow day .. Miss Wendy has been hogging those here lately huh?? LOL
